Unless some sort of ACE is found it is most definitely the last minute barrier.
When it comes to bullet bill glitch or flagpole glitch, being big mario or small mario makes no difference.
Yes, I was mainly replying to the "This could help improve the 18:59 Warpless"
I couldn't tell you off the top of my head, but I don't see people going for this yet. Not saying it won't ever be used, but I feel that there are other timesaves that should be done instead.
@HUMANRAC3 I highly doubt speedrunners will go for this, there are other time saves that are more worth going for.
I've heard that you can also hit the mushroom to further guarantee the chance of keeping the framerule.
I thought the nestopia code for AISSON was AIISON, Or something of such
No, I saw that thread earlier. I was just saying it's surprising that no one has discovered this a year ago for example.
This community is usually fast to find time saves like that, especially somewhat obvious ones.
The fact that no one has tried this before bewilders me.
Blindfolded would be a lot easier if you could guide others. I mean, it wouldn't be free, but it would still be a lot easier.
You just put the script wherever you want, then open a new script window, assuming that you are using FCEUX, and run the script. Make sure you start the game as fast as possible though, or else the timer will start wrong.
Oh, this is used for a strat in the AEPLLG speedruns in 8-3 and 8-2 I believe. For whatever reason the timer will stop and start again depending on Mario's height. You can use this to prevent fireworks in 8-3. But I don't know for sure why it happens.
