So like 5 years ago all i was having like 100 wii games original discs and than i saw usb loader gx and i just threw all of them to the trash so technically i am can have the digital version but can i use burend disc to speedrun?

If you are using a USB loader, you are free to submit it to the boards, but the run will be hidden by default.

But with burned disc it will not be hidden?

I'm reading up on it and it seems you can, but you need homebrew to load it. Meaning it would fall under USB loading. Also, don't listen to @silver_speedrunzsilver_speedrunz. If your run is USB loaded and you purposely don't tell us it's a quick way to get banned off the boards.

Just buy a Wii Sports Disc on eBay, Craigslist or some shopping website if you don't have one. Otherwise just like @theriverptheriverp said, your run will be hidden or banned.

And no, don't use a Burned disc. The wii prevents burned and pirated discs from running. You do need to enable using burned/pirated discs with soft modding (homebrew, usb loader etc.) The moderators will defienetly reject your run.

yes i homebrewed my wii but also with no modding i buy it used with burned dvd-r silverline mkwii disc and i luanch it from disc channel and it worked

2. Runs with DVD-R disc's are also not going to be shown on the leaderboard. Since the rules say you need the original disc.

Sure, you can play on a burned DVD-R disc, but it wont be shown to the public because it falls under emulation.
