NES Frame Manipulation for Single Case Spreadsheet
Updated 3 months ago by Ucci

The following spreadsheet will link you to the frame manipulation technique, evidence/input sheet, and cases that have been tested in close approximation to the inputs.

It is still a work in progress as more data is gathered to see what may or may not work based very closely on the specific timings. If there is a case with a location/year/loot/gender of suspect that is not listed here, please make note of the case if you can complete a regular run.

  • Write down the initial information
  • Track the first set of eras you travel to (i.e. Country 400/1300/1700/1900)
  • Note the suspect if you gather enough clues
  • When you get to the final location, hit "Travel" to see if any of the locations match the first set of eras (this includes your final location)

Again, a lot of credit needs to be given to Bobo the King for his TAS in 2011 where he created a bot for efficient evidence input (a big influence on my menuing in these games) and first provided evidence for this technique.
