After some experimenting during failed runs on my way to sub 13:00, I have discovered some strategies that I used to achieve this goal.
-
First strategy was using the grass in Mac-Race. This is a pretty easy trick, but going too far past the first bush on the 4th turn can cause the game to not recognize the lap. I have used this a few times but the RNG with the enemies taking the boxes has not been in my favor. Nice time save there!
-
Second strategy I found is cutscene movement. This is used during Moody Mansion and ??? to start movement before the level fade in. These are the only two levels I have found success with this in.
I hope this helps any future runners out! :D

@ShikenNuggets Thank you.
Hi, I am a Macbat 64 runner.
-
I noticed that the leaderboards are very bare and need to be cleaned up with new categories (New Game Plus, Updated 100%) along with rules.
-
The game has also updated since the leaderboards were created and need to be changed in the 100% category to fit in the new level. (Wouldn't remove runs, just add an updated 100% category maybe)
-
I would like to be added as a moderator to help add these additions to the leaderboards.
-
Although the current moderator is active and accepts runs, he does not show much interest in this game itself or in updating the leaderboards and adding game rules/category rules along with the updated categories that would be beneficial to the game.
-
I have submitted videos/runs to the leaderboards to show I have a knowledge of the game. I would really love to help finish creating the page for this game, as it is very bare bones.
-
I tried contacting the current moderator about this issue but did not get a response.

Thank you, Clendenon
I have just spent so many hours of attempts. I have gotten runs as low as 22:00 and then got the glitch. It’s so annoying but such a fun game. I would love to get it patched one day cause it would bring people to the game more. It’s a good game, but that one glitch just hurts so bad.
Knick-Knak has had successful runs, but does not want to submit until he is in the sub 30 range. I know he has been in contact with Sayuri as well, but from what I've been told she is busy working on Glass Wing: Retold and many other projects. This collision glitch could be an easy fix, and if it is, then I hope she will patch it soon.
It is completely random. I have had to reset way too many runs because of it. I had a chat with Sayuri Naggata, the creator of the game, and she said the game was made in 6 weeks. I am trying to get in contact again to see if it is patched, because I end up getting the glitch about 90% of the time, which is why I sometimes find it hard to get myself to play the game again.
