I could contact mods on the already existing Frogger speedrunning discord server or I could just make my own specifically for Frogger on Atari. I think the best option would to have our own until a mod contacts me back about it.
Can’t you just put controller and keyboard on separate leaderboards or nah?
Dying at the edge of the screen on the river by touching the edge would prove that you are playing on difficulty A, if you live stream it, you can just show it at the beginning of the stream to show whether or not your in difficulty A, but if it is just like a simple video on something like YouTube, it could be enforced that right before the run you submit, you should go to the edge of the screen and die at the river in the video to prove what difficulty you are on. Before this gets enforced as a category rule, I would like to know whether current runners would agree upon this idea
Yeah, we can add categories differentiating difficulty A and B, when we add these categories, all runs will be set to difficulty B by default as a result of adding these new categories but if you want to change your runs difficulty because you played it on Difficulty A instead of Difficulty B, feel free to contact me or do it yourself, if there are any problems about this, let me know
Let’s gooooo
Can I play the arcade version of Missile Command on the Arcade Smash Hits 3 in 1 game on the Sega Master System? Just wondering
Should we have multiple loops subcategory? Let me know, we currently only have 1 loop but should we have a multiple loops subcategory where you speedrun for example 5 loops or 10 loops.
But is it the full game of Star Fox 2 that are on the cartridges like on Switch and SnesClassic version?
If there are any category ideas you have, then let me know in this thread. I am open to suggestions for categories surrounding game modifications or the Original game itself.
