DId you get mine? I can't remember if I uploaded anything or not
Ok, a small update regarding my Ori runs - Turns out my game was running slightly too fast (about 4%) so all my runs are technically invalid and have been taken down and I have to redo them. I'm sad this was not noticed earlier, even though it's apparently a known issue.
It doesn't really have any impact on my estimate or whatever. Just, in case you were wondering why all my runs disappeared from the site.
Edit: Current "real" pb: 36:41, with two deaths that cost ~45s at the end.
I'm basically just focusing on Ori DE atm. I got a mid-35 earlier this week, so the 45 minute estimate is starting to look too safe.
New post, after some more discussions on Discord!
What would make more sense to me is an "All World Events" category. Because then we would have Any%, All Skills, All World Events, All Cells and 100% which are all different from eachother and very easy to define.
However! "All World Events" only really makes sense if it's also glitchless (as people has figured out before). So it would be "All World Events, no glitches" or at least "... no major glitches" if you consider double-bashing a minor glitch. I don't think there's any point in adding in "do it in the inteded order!" or "no sequence breaks".
So my suggestion is this:
- Any%
- All Skills, no OOB (and no clips)
- All World Events, no glitches (as defined above, by Vulajin)
- All Cells
- 100%
After thinking about it some more (and typing a lot of thoughts in Discord), it turns out my main concern is this:
If we have a Glitchless category, then why still ban OOB in All Skills? There would be more room for a Glitchless category if All Skills was just.. all skills, instead of a semi-glitchless category.
I'm not suggesting we change All Skills (as people has pointed out - we've had that discussion already), I like it the way it is now. But anyway, that's my main issue.
It seems like a good idea. I was worried that it would overlap with All Skills too much (essentially do what All Skills tries to do), but it looks like this will trade Misty and BRB for all of Horu (still no Forlorn escape :( ).
Hmm. I have to think about it some more.
O R I !
.. and some other games too, yay : )
Ori DE - All skills in 37:58 Will do better, but not before May 1st :>
Joka update!
Ori DE (All Skills): Was released for PC yesterday. Dashing/air-dashing is crazy fun. Currently routing All Skills. Estimate should be 45 min with currently known strats.
Ori (Any%/All Skills): Focusing on DE, so I haven't played this in a bit. It's very similar though. DE is just more things.
Mega Man 7 (Any%): Practiced quite a bit for the relay race. Improved my PB by over a minute. I am now #2.
Mega Man Network Transmission (Any%): I haven't played this since last year. I feel it wont take long to derust though and I can still shave 1-2 minutes from my PB.
Little Nemo (Any%): Did some practice. Beat my PB by a couple of seconds.
I like it! Too bad so many runs has to be cut though :/
I'd like to update my estimate/category for Ori: Definitive Edition to "All skills" and 45 minutes, as Any% will be basically the same as Any% for vanilla Ori.
I like it! Very easy to sign up and pay.
Oh ok, then I misunderstood
Hmm Joshimuz submitted Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas... but as far as I know the adventure wont be playable when ESA is? Unless Blizzard changed their minds again.
We are working on synchronizing the sites automatically. But until then, it will be separated like this. As it is now, the Mega Man Leaderboards (http://jokaah.com/mmrta/index.php) are way more up to date.
I'm planning on bringing:
CONSOLES: 1x Famicom (RBG) with cables 1x Super Famicom with RBG cable 1x PSP 3000 with component, s-video and composite cables 1x Super Game Boy 2
GAMES: Rockman & Forte, Babs Big Break, Mega Man Powered Up, Rockman 5 (for Primal), Rockman 3 (in case anyone needs it), PowerPak + card reader
I updated the red names according to the current payment-list!
Can I suggest game, but not enter the tournament? >:)
