We had some problems on Christmas about retiming, so I am doing some changes in the leaderboards and mod team.
Glitches aren't allowed on 100% category anymore. because on mobile you could stop the timer doing glitches and then slowly collect everything, so we are banning glitches from 100%
Mobile runs will always use in-game time to IL, while web and mobile full game have 2 retiming methods to IL:
glitchless and 100%:
the first frame is the first frame where the bunny arms are in a horizontal position, which means he will start running.
the last frame is the first frame the flag pole animation begins, which means when that red circulated pixel appears.
Any%:
the first frame is the first frame of the level fade in, which means the first frame where you can see anything of the level, like shown above, where the bunny's eyes was used as the first frame. We use this method because there's a glitch that let you starts playing the level while the level is still loading.
to not be considered a glitch, the bunny has to start running when we can see the first frame, any run where we can't see this frame will be considered glitched.
We will add the any% level skip categories and the any% NG as soon as somebody run them.
And we decided to have only 1 variable to time, so whatever timing your category use you have only one time to fill
we are working to fix all the leaderboards right now.
it is possible, I am talking to the mods right now, at first my plan was to make 100% only glitchless
I am retiming all Kentech's verified runs, I will talk to him about retime, thanks for letting me know about these problems with the times. I am working to fix it right now.
I noticed that in these leaderboards there are currently four different forms of retiming runs, each one considering a different last frame, generating confusion about the retime method and some advantages for those who are retimed with earlier frames.
So from now on the last frame considered in the retime will be the first frame in which the loading frog with 3 dots appears, so we can better time all runs.
I retimed every run on the leaderboard with this method and changed the rules to better specify the frames where the timer begins and ends.
start the video when you are standing still, we need to see the bunny stopped and the first frame he starts to run. end the video when the flag completely rises, so we can see the first frame the flag pole animation starts.
well, the rules said the timer starts on the level fade in and you had to record the level transition, your runs didn't had any of those so we rejected. However we saw a lot of players making the same mistake, so we are changing the rules of the yeah ILs to start the timer on the first frame of the bunny running animation on glitchless.
if you press the pause's play button while the sign cover the screen, then the time will freeze and you can play normally without the pause screen with the timer frozen, but you can't die or the timer will start again
The nameless discovered that you can jump while paused and if you jump a lot, you build hyperspeed.
It's very easy to get out of bounds this way, so you have to time your hyperspeed.
as discovered by Baxz, when you pause mid-air, the time will frozen and the bunny will fall to the ground, when he hits the ground you have to press again to let the bunny run. Below is an example of him doing the glitch in a run:
while I was playing, I found a new glitch:
when you get a chick and pause, the In-Game Timer will freeze and you will be able to play the game while paused with the timer frozen:
I found a glitch where your line TP from one finger to another, the requirement is as follow:
- Do a line, you have to end the line in maximum speed.
- Release your finger of the screen.
- 1 frame after doing this, you have to start a line with the other finger and it needs to start in maximum speed too.
You can start the second line in any place of the screen.
There's some problems with this glitch that makes it inconsistent:
- sometimes the game will bug and the character will stay still after you drawn the second line. When this happens you have to touch the screen again.
And the glitch has variation that I don't know how to replicate:
- sometimes the character will start running without lines while the time don't go down. If you press anywhere in the screen in this glitch, you will be instantly teleported.
Some videos of the glitch:
To better understand the glitch put the videos in slow motion
You can do the Level Skip glitch to go to levels you already unlocked. when the glitch happens the bunny go to level 50 and start to run to level 0, so the faster you click play, higher is the number of the level you warp to. We still doesn't know what make the glitch happens, but we know that you can only get once after playing a level normally.

In this leaderboard you can see the best times I am talking about
Our leaderboard have runs almost fully optimized in every level, if theoretically was possible to beat a record in our leaderboard it would be by something between 0.01 and 0.05 seconds. But there's some exceptions, the levels 11, 12, 15, 17 and maybe 20 can theoretically save between 0.01 seconds and 0.2 So in the exception levels you could use our leaderboard best times minus 0.2 seconds as a limit, and in the other levels our best times minus 0.05 as limit. you could maybe do that verification only once with the update, because after the update no glitch time will be possible anymore Idk, maybe this could be a solution.
