In the underground ruins when you descend on the white platform just before the skull beast fight, jump onto the black platform and walk of the edge to the right. Hold down and when you appear on the square platform hold square to transform into the gargoyle as the boys shows up. Might save a second or two, might evolve into a boss skip.
I've got some interesting things I'm going to share when my capture card comes in. Including unused character models. :)
After doing some testing I noticed I returned to town with 2 Gorotan coins. After some sleuthing I found out if you die while defeating Gorotan, it doesn't count as a victory but it does count as a kill. Intentionally tying to Gorotan and beating him a second time nets you the normal 5,000 plus an additional 5,000.
