I can't even express how excited I am this is at least a thing to someone, any tips and tricks you could suggest? I watched your record, and think I might have missed a few details, and just wanted to I guess introduce myself as well!
Sorry, didn't see this until now. Never expected this page to get any traffic whatsoever. Also I know at least 2 other people have speedrun this game, they just never submitted their runs, but I'm not alone.
As for advice, the game is mostly just memorizing where you need to put your cursor next, movement optimizations, and getting lucky with the fight sequences.
The only trick in the run is when you click on an object/person you can interact with while the screen is transitioning/fading in, you'll leave the screen immediately in the same direction you came from. For example, right at the beginning, as you walk into the dress shop, you can position your cursor where the dress is going to be, then you mash click and hold the dialogue skip button. This will make you buy the dress the second you enter the store, then leave immediately.
