San Pancho can take the longest amount of time in the 100% full game category. Depending on RND, you can get a time anywhere from 30m, to 1h, 15m. This guide includes strategy that is used in order to get a fast time in San Pancho.

Guards: Name the fourth guard in the rename characters menu to something like "444444", "Red", or Staff".

  1. Search the unoccupied desk, and use that to use the desk serach glitch so that inmates won't know you are searching their desk early. Gather Comb Shivs or Penarium Barrels, and the items necessary to craft Molten Chocolate, a Shovel, or cutting items. After finishing searching the left side of desks, go to roll call. Give the comb shivs or penarium barrels to the tailor. The tailor is always the 2nd one over from the bottom right.

  2. Depending on the tailor's opinion, you may have to change your play accordingly. A: [>60] If his opinion is high, you should easily be able to get him to follow you. B: [45-60] If his opinion is in the middle, you should still try giving him opinion items. You should give him three items at breakfast, and if not enough, three at the start of job period. Keep note that you can only gift inmates 3 items per In-Game hour. C: [<45] If his opinion is low, it's not recommended to gift inmate items unless you can find a lot of penarium barrels. Instead, do this. Once no guards are around, attack the inmate and let him follow you through the entire job period. This will still make him lose his job, but you can't use that time to boost intellect or search desks.

2.5. If you can get the tailor to follow you, use the infinite durability on a fork. Chip the corner wall at the gym which leads to a Prisoner Stash. You can use the exercise mat in the corner to go up into the utility shed once the wall is down, but remember to put the wall block back or keep it at 4%. Use any remaining fatigue and/or time to increase intellect.

  1. After Job Period ends, apply for the tailor. You will need to increase your intellect if you couldn't get the tailor to follow you. Show up to exercise period to avoid getting instant 99% guard heat, then chip the top wall in the tailor room. Guards never check there, so you can throw out the wall block or give it to an inmate to completely get rid of it. Then, go back to step 2.5 if you weren't able to befriend the tailor and needed to attack it during job period.

  2. Open both prisoner stashes. If you get lucky, you should get a shovel or plastic red key. If you don't get lucky, hopefully you'd have the items to craft.

  3. Get three extra POW outfits. An easy fast way of doing this is to get them from knocked inmates, or take off your outfit to get an extra one when knocked. Perform the yellow key glitch on two outfits. This is necessary as you can use one at night as a yellow key, and replace the 4th guards red key with the extra yellow key. If you didn't get the items needed from prisoner stashes, boost your intellect so that you can craft them if you have the necessary parts.

  4. Depending on if you got the plastic red key or not will depend on how you need to adjust. If you didn't get a red key, chip the other wall in the tailor area to get out. Using the molten chocolate, knock out the fourth guard. Replace the red key with the yellow key, and take the guard outfit.

  5. Complete your quota during job period. Go to the timber area in the top left of the map, and gather timber braces before you start digging. You can get at least 8 timber braces with this. It's highly recommended to complete your job first to avoid guards yelling at you for being outside without your job done and the possibility of being sniped.

  6. At Evening Rollcall / Lights Out, gather two sheet rope (one if doing infinite durability), a bed dummy, a yellow key and cutting items. Go back to the gym utility area, then use the ladder up. Use the sheet rope to go down in roof level to go forward to the generator. Start cutting the rooftop fence. You can also use the cutting time freeze glitch for this. Leaving this fence open is necessary as you will not be sniped or sent to solitary.

  7. Save your game in the bed, then load straight away after so your infinite items will no longer be ghosted and can be gotten rid of if necessary. By this point, if you have a shovel, you are safe to unlimit it, because if something goes wrong, you can reload. When you start digging, doing the tailor job is optional, but if you don't do the job, make sure you are still in the tailor zone (no yellow arrow) by the time each job period ends (13:00 and 21:00), otherwise you'd have to chip two walls. Start digging until you get to the electric fence. Then go through the gym utility shed to get to the roof with two sheet rope. Make sure you have a guard outfit or extra infirmary overalls before going up otherwise you'd get sniped. Turn off the generator, then start cutting with the time freeze glitch. Start digging again and make your way past the landmines. You will be safe to stop digging when the screen stops scrolling when you move forward.

  8. Once at Evening Rollcall / Lights Out, make sure you have the bed dummy in your bed, then go through your tunnel, then at the end wait for the jeep before digging up. From here, we're basically set to a normal escape strategy. Put the dirt back in the hole once above ground, make your way to the bottom single wall, then start chipping.
