I paused the splits timer a few seconds late, I thought it was after the battle screen came up not the "You Are Victorious!".

I wasted time I think on buying those speed upgrades. My logic was that they'd make the TIE´s faster both in arriving to attack the station as well as being able to fly around and do damage...

Maybe Y-Wings would be better because they can Ion down the shields so the X-Wings can do more damage? Dunno. The TIE's have 1 more bomber which seems to do more damage overall.
