A game gets added when someone requests it and the person who requests it becomes the first moderator of the game. You need to be able to do a run of the game you’re requesting so you’re not going to be able to request an unreleased game (it’s only allowed in special circumstances).

Seems to revive dead threads and reposts usually the first sentence of a previous post.
Not sure it would really provide accurate metrics either since people can choose almost any country they want (aside from some IP restricted eastern Asian ones). Plus all the dummies like me who say they’re from Antarctica would skew things a bit.
Why would a community for a game be spread out over multiple servers? I'm genuinely curious what games are setup like that because I can't imagine a scenario where a game would want to segregate it's community as such. I would see it as a huge headache for anyone trying to gather or research resources for a game.
Unfortunately not, I've never used a Chromebook in my life.
You mean like frame counting? That's as easy as just opening the video in any video editor that shows frames. Then, simply find the starting and ending frame, subtract the starting from the ending (something like 6500 - 400 or something like that), then divide that by your video's FPS. That'll be the length of the run in seconds, which can easily be converted into hours, minutes, etc. That should include milliseconds as well once it's all converted.
More than likely an extension of the bug that’s been reported like crazy regarding editing posts and viewing rules/guides.
Based on the last 5 posts here and these threads

it appears to be a problem with editing things and site staff is aware of it.
For what it’s worth, the same thing happened to me when editing a forum post. I edited my post and when I hit save, the whole thing was blank. I had to edit it again and hit save again to get it to show up. I think it’s an issue editing anything in general.
You need to ask the mods/community, the site as a whole doesn't control that https://www.speedrun.com/rondo/forum

First one is just posting questions (might not be a bot), but the second one always replies to the first one’s threads and their posts/answers get more and more nonsensical.
I also have a affiliate icon despite not being one, so shout outs to twitch’s API for losing its mind I guess.
The site is already pretty mobile responsive - there’s only a few things that don’t translate great when using the site in a mobile browser, but I can’t think of anything an app would offer over just using the site in a browser.
Please don’t post the same thing in multiple places, you already posted this here https://www.speedrun.com/Speedrunning/thread/ya2sn
But in order to record anything from the NES Classic, you need an HDMI Capture Card (and hope that it has drivers for a Chromebook if those things can even support capture devices). That last part is a big question mark for me as I’m not sure what a Chromebook can do - but it’ll need Capture Card drivers for whatever brand you buy and software like OBS to actually record the run.
If a Chromebook can’t run either of those, then you either need to purchase a different PC/laptop or you’ll need to record from your phone’s camera or some other form of webcam pointed at your TV.
Contact the mods of the game, a spelling error isn’t a site bug. The mods of the games set up the categories, they can fix something like that very easily.
You'll want to ask the SMO community for help. Either post in their forums or join their discord, I'm sure they'd be glad to help https://www.speedrun.com/smo

Make sure to read the whole thing before submitting.
OBS to stream and record: cost $0 GV-USB2 Capture Card to capture footage from the console: cost $40
That’s all you need. You can add a powered splitter (about $20 -$30) if you want to split the console video and audio so you can play off a TV while you record. Without that you’ll have to play off your captured footage on your computer. There are also cheaper capture card options but they’ll all have worse quality and probably more delay than the gv-usb2.
Here’s the guide I always share for a simplistic streaming setup: https://goo.gl/C78vWx
