This is an informative post for those who have not heard or may be confused about the recent change to Any%.
For anyone that is not in the discord server, there was a change to the Any% category on the leaderboard that had been debated by the community for some time now and finally has come to a conclusion.
Legacy Versions - All versions previous from the current version of the game. (1.0.0/1.0.1(which applies to 1.1.0)/1.1.0) Current Version - Only the current up-to-date version of the game. (1.2.0)
When you go to submit, Legacy Versions should be the defaulted variable for Subcategory (wish there was an option to not have subcategories defaulted), if your run was on 1.2.0, submit it to the Current Subcategory.
Although most of the Godzilla boards are inactive, I see potential in other categories with this game especially. There should be an All Challenges category and Challenge ILs, and possibly something to do with Survival mode. I recently have done an attempt of All Challenges and would like to see it on the leaderboard, as well as potentially being moderator to spice this leaderboard up a bit. I mod the Unleashed board and wish to make this leaderboard better and appeal to people who pass by and might want to try this speedgame out.
I am one of the Super Mario Odyssey leaderboard moderators, and we have had multiple issues with accounts (not bots) that have been purposefully posting nonsense (mostly random shizpost) and obviously are constantly doing this due to us having to lock these posts and directly message them to try and stop this. On behalf of the other mods, we would really appreciate if it were to be possible to ban specific accounts from posting in certain leaderboards forums, making new threads, posting new comments, etc.
As you've previously known we've decided last week to add the rule of no longer accepting non-video submissions and that all runs now require video proof on the speedrun.com Leaderboard for Odyssey. Today, we announce an archived Leaderboard to which runners of the game can submit to, specifically for those who are not able record their gameplay. @okra_armband and I have worked on this leaderboard since last week and we are happy to announce that it is now finalized and ready for submissions, both Okra and I will be managing this google sheets Leaderboard for now. This Leaderboard will not and cannot be automatically updated with the speedrun.com Leaderboard, so when you submit a time, they will automatically be placed in the response sheet, and that's where either Okra or I will take your submission, overlook it and rank it accordingly on the Leaderboard. (1P submission form only, if you wish to submit a 2P run without video proof, please contact either Okra or I.) With that said, all non-video runs that are present on the speedrun.com Leaderboard will be deleted, and the speedrun.com Leaderboard will require video evidence from this point onward. A comment about your run (or splits) is necessary for proper verification, please submit real times that you have actually achieved. Thank you for your patience.

The main Leaderboard now has the addition of Miscellaneous Categories, for now we will start off with All Purple Coins as by popular demand from the community, other categories will be added later on.
The community has decided and amongst the main board mods we've moved 2P over as a subcategory.
After months of discussion with the community, 2P is now officially on the Leaderboard for the Any% category as a subcategory (and 1P). If 2P runs are done of any of the other main categories we will consider adding 2P subcategories to the rest of them.
I've read forum posts somewhere from Vanity about consoles softlocking once they reach to Path when selecting either Lucas or PKMN Trainer, I understand the reasonings but then I saw he posted that the way to avoid it from softlocking was to play on a vBrawl download, I did that for 4.2, still softlocked, then i did it for 4.0bc, still softlocking. I have also softlocked in 4.0bc after defeating Porky in The Ruined Zoo. Very confused.
Break The Targets was previously showcased as a Level Leaderboard, but with the transition of the possible addition of Subspace Emissary ILs, we've decided to move the entire BTT board over to the Miscellaneous section on the Full-game Leaderboard.
Showcases what the manipulation looks like, movements to ice pillar, and multiple strats on how to get the manipulation.
Note: Decided to make this before the new Sphynx clip route is created, which would save a possible 10-15s more than this currently.
Updated route cuts Employees Only and adds in Lone Pillar. It uses the manipulation trick to get first bullet bill to lone pillar. Saves 10-11 seconds on older route and is 1-2 seconds faster than the Sphynx route (which is replaced by Notes.)
Note: If you are not comfortable without the Sphynx, just add the Sphynx and remove Notes, you won't even lose 5s, depending on how many coins you grab in the Treasure room.
