Grinding in Rev 2 isnt too bad (at least for character levels/skills) so it shouldnt be too hard to get back into it. I just tend to do events more so than the src speedruns for raid. But for src, you dont need the greatest weapons to do the runs thankfully. You can get decent runs without all the highest tags/parts/etc
You just add the times you get within a single run. You cannot redo a level during the run and has to be in one life throughout. I tend to use a site to add up all my times (I use this one personally http://www.grun1.com/utils/timeCalc.html) Just make sure you do not cut out going into the vestibule and going into the next level. This makes sure we know you arent splicing/making a segmented run.
Chests arent part of it cause that is more towards grinding. If you want to get them in your run, that is fine but it isnt required. It even states in the rules of 100%, get all the medals in one run in one life (dont use a crystal). Raid mod ein this game isnt ran enough on this site to have a new category made imo.
Looks like a controller/keyboad hardware or something cause I never had that happen to me before. I would possibly try reinstalling the game perhaps?
Make sure you have all the upgrades for the knife and IDK how to really do a tutorial on it since it is just waiting for a split second then doing the knife instead of doing it immediately.
No, no I am not. I am doing something that is normal for the game and this was done before I even ran the game by others. I am going through the run like most are with some stuff changed that I found to be better later on. I am not the only one who did it or knows of the knife. It is very common knowledge and you could have asked and I would have given you that info. I am not one to hide that sort of stuff Not even a glitch FYI. You are just able to do enough damage with a crit on casual and Normal.
They mean going completely through without pushing hun. I still had to push the normal amount of times and go through the normal knife swing. The person went through without going through the entire event.

So no, I have never done it before and would have shown it if I did. If you are talking about killing the enemy in one knife swing that Steven and others have done in SEVERAL runs...you get all knife upgrades and it is based on timing to do a crit. You kind of have to wait a split second. It takes practice tbh. But if you read the original post, he describes GOING THROUGH the bookcase entirely which I have never been able to do or replicate. So dont call me out on something I havent done hun. The only thing I have done is running in the prison earlier than normal and that run isnt even on the boards since it is random and unable to be replicated consistently currently.

Hello, there is a general RE discord sever but Rev 2 does not have it's own server. You would need an invite to the RE discord server
I had that happen on my IL run on PS4. I havent had it trigger again...Was using SW, Mag mastery and FR3 then. Curious if there is a weird crit spot or if shooting him during the talk scene does do damage. I remember testing it-seeing it didnt but fuck idk. Could be a weird abnormality

Your inventory should be like you are just playing that campaign for the first time. You cannot have anything that would not be in the starting inventory for that campaign or character. EX: Leon starts with the wing shooters and survival knife...you cant have a FOS, extra ammo/heals, grenades or other guns that you picked up in the campaign at the start. You can still pick up the guns later in the run but you cant start with them in your inventory in chapter 1. Hopefully that clears it up a bit.
You would be surprised what a lot of people miss or dont understand even when they do watch the runs etc. I see is in majority.
But I can, it doesnt bother me and it can help others with some things. I will see what I can do when I have time.
Hey, I want thinking of doing a tutorial for each campaign starting with Leon's then going through each one. It will be NG+ solo to see if anyone would be interested or even had questions. It would be streamed as well.
It only speed up certain chapters cause of route they take but otherwise-not too much of a difference. It could be a mini-filter like other games do for FPS but not enough to do another tab imo. Lack of interest in addition to difference compared to like different character campaigns like RE1 Chris and Jill for example.
If there were more runners and more interest, I would have already done it personally. The board already has a lot of tabs too but-I can make it to where there is another tab for Solo to put what character you use maybe...make it to where you can filter it out at least. Otherwise, the differences arent extremely big and the interest isnt much either to warrant it sadly.
I have a pc and been meaning to get the game to test some stuff out. You can disable the VODs as mentioned (a friend showed me this.) I believe Treasure events do not count but do not quote me on that
Restarting at those points is fine. Restarting counts for IGT as well so it isnt as bad as RE5 so I wouldnt recommend spamming it
