Allowed emulators are decided on a per-leaderboard basis. So your friend is going to need to register and make a forum post in the specific game(s) of interest to ask if those systems are allowed on each board.

You can record however you want, as long as the recording is in one piece and is of sufficient quality for the mods to tell what’s happening.

You submit runs by going to the category you ran and clicking the submit run button.

Runs on iPad are allowed.

A timer is not required.

Time to change your name now.

Check the game’s forum first to see if there’s a sticky thread. Sometimes there’s a dedicated thread for requesting new categories.

Also, if the game has a category extensions board, you should request through that and not the main board.

Nitrome games aren’t on Flashpoint because Nitrome is in the process of porting all of their games over to HTML5. Once they finish Square Meal, you can play it on www.nitrome.com.

Just got this pop-up when submitting a run:

“Did you mean: 0h 0m 0s 090ms or 0h 0m 0s 900ms? Timer software will often display times to two decimal places, which can lead to confusion. Please confirm the correct milliseconds are filled in.”
