Some positive feedback, thank you for adding run comments. We've been asking for that for four years! (Or at least I have)

You rock, ELO team. Thank you for keeping the site moving forward. You don't know how good it feels to have frequent updates instead of waiting months and months for a tiny change!
Probably isn't the right version then! I'm not sure where to find it anymore. Flash is dead
Update: Heyo! The game has been added back to the android store! :))))
The moderation hub game list should be sorted primarily by number of pending requests, then alphabetically.
Example: RogueJack: Roguelike Blackjack - 7 Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot - 5 Little Fin - 5 Jack Frost - 3 Cursor 10 - 2 Barbie: Magic Genie Adventure - 0 Bush's Bean Dash - 0 Cat Jump - 0 Cursor 10 [2nd Session] - 0 Fast Finger -0 Tiny Tomb - 0 Treemaker - 0
Or, it should be sorted alphabetically by number of pending requests greater than 1 and then alphabetically by number of pending requests equal to 0.
Cursor 10 - 2 Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot - 5 Jack Frost - 3 Little Fin - 5 RogueJack: Roguelike Blackjack - 7 Barbie: Magic Genie Adventure - 0 Bush's Bean Dash - 0 Cat Jump - 0 Cursor 10 [2nd Session] - 0 Fast Finger -0 Tiny Tomb - 0 Treemaker - 0
Edit 07/27/2023 Thanks for adding this feature!
Here are a few ways to deal with the issue:
The Cat Bird community had All Worlds runs archived into a separate category once the fourth world (Zipsa) came out, since the original category only timed for three worlds. https://www.speedrun.com/cb_ce#Original_All_Worlds
In Freerice, once the website was updated, the company removed the ability Freerice 2.0, so we put all of the 2.0 runs under Misc. https://www.speedrun.com/freerice#All_Subjects_2.0
In Disney Crossy Road, the rules state "required as of 2018" to account for a few runs that were posted without audio pre-2018. A thread tracks this rule change and also updates users that timers are not required as of 2021 (but this doesn't disqualify any previous runs). https://www.speedrun.com/dcr/thread/kt9gb
@Dare, all awesome ideas! I especially would love to see more information on the "lore" of the run. It's strange to see a huge time improvement in the graph but have no idea what exactly saved the time. Or even, if it was a small improvement, it'd be cool to know what was happening around that time in the community, such as, if two players were racing to get a specific time. Maybe some sort of customizable "timeline" feature underneath the graph that mods could customize would be epic.
I'd hope you'd hit the 1000s on all levels before attempting an all worlds 500 :D
Heyo! Just as an update, All Worlds is open to all runners for completing 100, 500, and 1000, as well. However, the categories will not be listed until someone expresses interest in running said categories. Cheers :))))
The run that started it all: A four-category run of Disney Crossy Road's Wreck It Ralph (50, 100, 500, 1000 points) https://www.speedrun.com/dcr/run/pydor6qz
Then the guy moderating it stopped doing it as quickly and I took his spot. Then I started requesting leaderboards for other mobile games, such as Cat Bird. Then the mobile speedrunning discord became a thing :)) All thanks to DCR!
Answering @justkeith's post here because this turned into a feedback piece: https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/5uurm
tldr; too many categories = no graph showing I see that the devs recently changed the graph so that the categories are shown below the graph. It seems that, with too many categories, the graph is pushed out of sight.
Devs before ELO have said in the past that the wr history graph uses a 3rd-party library. This was their main argument for not adding the ability to click on records to see runs for a very long time. However, clearly they found a workaround for it and so work can be done on this library to make a more customized graph for the site. However, I would say to abandon the library and work with a fresh one, or make one from scratch.
The graphs have always needed a little more attention. I've been asking for these two updates for 4+ years: Multiple records in one day: https://www.speedrun.com/post/didpg Toggle all categories on/off: https://www.speedrun.com/post/7xwjd
I would love to see the WR redesigned to account for the following:
- Things mentioned above, and current functionality (clicking on records to be taken to that run)
- The graph has a set height that does not change (fixing @justkeith's issue)
- Date adjustable, so you can zoom in and not try to filter through piles of circles at times of high WR activity
- Non-WR comparisons, such as comparing multiple users PBs over time to see how they began, how they developed, and when they stopped playing specific categories.
- And ...I'll probably add to this later.
Edit 7/27/2023: The WR Graph is now date and time adjustable! Awesome! Also, it has a fixed height. Double awesome! Also, the categories have been fixed. Superb!
On Chrome and Firefox, pagination is a bit messed up. I hit the arrow to advance to next forum page, but the same page loads. Clicking on the page numbers also leads to wrong pages loading. I believe it's easier to explain the issue by going to a higher page number. I'll start on page 60 and tell you the results.
Start at: https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/forum/60 On this page, the number "59" is highlighted, showing the 59th forum page. I click on "60" and the same page is loaded. I click on the ">" paginator and the same page is loaded. I click on the "<" paginator and https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/forum/58 is loaded, with number "57" highlighted.
I believe the issue here is that you are loading the correct forum page -1 each time. ">" adds one, but you subtract one. "<" subtracts one, and you subtract one. Clicking on any page number gives you that page, but you subtract one.
Cheers!
Edit November 2021: Thanks for fixing the issue!
Sounds fun, I'll bite. Criteria: Game is awesome. I like it. Was fun to try a speedrun of it. More people should speedrun it. Games within a tier are not sorted.
~ S ~ Disney Crossy Road Barbie: Magic Genie Adventure The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: Pizza Party Pickup ~ A ~ Snow Line Irritation Stickman Code Red Jack Frost Mutiny Zack and Cody's Tipton Trouble Treemaker ~ B ~ Rocats Yokai Dungeon King Tongue Bush's Bean Dash ~ C ~ Fast Finger Cheese Dreams Demo Tiny Tomb Cats in Time Climb Higher ~ D ~ Little Fin Drop Wizard Tower Maze Machina Finger * 10 Cursor *10 Cursor *10 [2nd Session] ~ E ~ Cat Jump Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot ~ F ~ RogueJack: Roguelike Blackjack ONECUE
Now I'll go ahead and rank all the leaderboards that I created and modded before. I kept notes on who I gave them away to, but I don't feel like editing, so those notes will stay lol

It'd be really awesome if got to 1,000 in every level! Once complete, every category in level leaderboards will have a run!
List of worlds with records below 1,000: Wreck it Ralph* Tangled Haunted Mansion Toy Story
Claimed since posting: The Lion King Monster's Inc. Nightmare Before Christmas Big Hero 6
*Wreck it Ralph is technically the easiest to pull off a 1,000, but it'd be nice if someone pulled off a 100,000 so it's reflected on the leaderboard, as scores are posted as Score/100.
So let's check those runs in August and delete them if they are private. The users can resubmit them if they'd like. Or, mouth, if you're feeling up to it, you could download and reupload those videos for them with credit haha. But I'm not expecting you to do that. I'm not going to do it :))
The following Cursor *10 runs may need to be deleted if these unlisted videos are turned to private through youtube's new thing. I will message the users involved.
Cursor *10 Aftermathrar 1m 48s 9 years ago
Cursor *10 geekthras 1m 58s 13 years ago

I've wanted speedrun.com open sourced for a while now. I wish they'd done it while Pac was leading it and I would certainly still be a fan if ELO would allow for open-source, as well: https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/g79jt/72#1trpu
The Code Runners Discord (speedrun tool coding group, basically) has discussed making a whole new site once or twice, but it's a very hefty task.
I agree with Liv and Shiken in that, even if such a thing were created, it would have to hit on a lot of needs that are taken care of already by this site. I simply (yet) see a small team taking on such a large task and getting community buy-in. Odds are, unless someone like Pac stands up and gets addicted to contributing to the site until it succeeds, the project would turn into a side project. And that'll just lead to a bunch of frustrated users who aren't getting the site they need.
So, once again, I'd rather turn this into a plea to ELO to allow for open-sourced site contributions. (Once their current React developer is done overhauling the PHP website, which will probably take a long time)
There are only 2 pages for 100% Official response from the dev:
Thank you for playing Infernum Peak!
The last two pages are still unrealized. At the moment, work on Infernum Peak is temporarily suspended. Unfortunately, I can't give a date for the resumption of work on Infernum Peak.
