This could have been an opportunity to help this guy and put him on the right track, but no, it's much more fun to make fun of him. Some of you were completely out of line:
read the first page of the thread
"We can't do anything here, I recommend just dm'ing cheese himself or discuss this in the sm64 forums https://www.speedrun.com/sm64/forum "
"Cheese, batora, simply, taggo, etc. etc. are actually friends. Cheese isn't being a dick to batora, he just forgot to update the title. Cheese has made several tweets congratulating batora and also made a reaction video to it."
"The fact that you and not Batora is posting about this should tell you that you shouldn’t bother^^"
To anyone who may have found this thread on google: If you want to report a speedrun.com user, use the support hub.
i know, but the only way I would get a screenshot like that is with inspect, i dont read the two sections
give me 10 minutes with inspect element and I can, but i'll probably never have this because i dont read tournaments or streaming sections
windows gamebar hasn't been low quality for me, its certainly not as good as actual recording softwares, but it records in 30fps and is there by default, so it's what I use

@Zedvardsson You bring up fair points but you can’t assure me that this thread had any impact whatsoever on the matter. Maybe it did but it was still valid of me to bring it up.
@Zedvardsson no there isn't. There is no evidence that cheese saw this thread. In fact, it's much more likely that he didn't, he hasn't logged on in over a year, and if he had seen this thread, he would have had to have been on speedrun.com recently. It's more likely that he just changed the title of the video on his own. You said you left a youtube comment, so maybe that's why? I can assure you that this thread had literally no impact on the title being changed. You also clearly did not read the article pear sent.
@1 said he was in a discord with cheese as a joke. Nobody here redirected this message to him. Cheese did it on his own.
Edit: 3 pages aaaa
they were last online 5 days ago, so send them a message on the site and then wait a week or so. You could also try to contact them on their other socials, such as twitter, twitch, or discord. If they don't respond after a couple of weeks, you can request the removal of an inactive moerator via the support hub.
There was a thread that asked the exact same thing, but I can't find it. My first time watching a speedrun was @Greenalink 's former world record of New Super Mario Bros. 2. I don't exactly remember when I first heard of speedrunning, but this is the first time I sat down and watched a full run. I didn't actually make an account until several years later though.
