Not with computer software like OBS, you would need a physical camera to record it
Super Obama World is a Webgame. https://www.speedrun.com/sow
I approve of some kind of health disclaimers for super long categories. I suggested a scheduled break system of some kind but for now people are responsible enough to play healthy.
Maybe try again, find a video guide, or ask around? Livesplit isn't necessary, you can use a kitchen timer, watch timer, timer app, or even just don't time it at all and just retime when you have a good video. For this game exact timing isn't necessary unless it's close to world record.
In the demo I noticed red coins that are already collected stay that way afterwards. If you beat the level again after you collected all 20 before it still says 20/20. So do you think red coins will be required for ILs? The game won’t count them again and the end screen will say you got it perfect 20/20 no matter what.
You still have to wait a bit for the buttons to show up though. Are we allowed to remove the pregame intro about subscribing?
Dang, earlier today there was no speedrun.com page and the best I could find was 17:12. I played today and thought I got world record without knowing all that had happened since.
I noticed slippy's PC run had a much lower time than my Web run even though we were using the same strategies. I compared my splits to his run and even with the same gameplay I was a few seconds slower. I downloaded the PC version and sure enough, it was running faster, and I got a gold split on every world.
I even downloaded the .swf file from the web and when playing through a .swf player it still had the same slow time. So, it seems that the PC version is faster. It shouldn't be banned or anything, this is just a PSA for what version is fastest and how I noticed the Web version is slower. You can try it yourself and compare splits between the two or comparing my Pam 6:02 and slippy's Pam 4:59.

IGT is closed at the moment. You can look at the in-game time if you're just starting out and want to track your progress, but once you get good I suggest your record your runs then submit it into RTA.
The reason why is kind of complicated, but it turns out as I discovered last fall the in-game timer doesn't track any time before you reset in a level. So theoretically the best strategy would be to reset over and over in a level until you get it perfect to optimize your IGT since only the time after the last reset is counted. This would eventually turn into very lengthy runs that would defeat the point of speedrunning. So for now we are only using RTA. Yeah later I could write Dunkel Blau's TAS in 2016, the start of the speedrun.com page in 2017, and what I have done. I will come back to this and update it when i feel like it, it could be not done any time soon.
Yeah I Olimar can't plow through Spirits like he used to. It's honestly sad. I assume Ganondorf is the now the best option since I read he was the best besides Olimar before.
I would like to see legacy versions still being run since I think prepatch Olimar won't be topped
Yes, elgato's standard ones are $180. I would like to know which ones are $30. Are you thinking of the wires to record from CRT's?
NG+ mainly
I will look at NG too
Piranha Plant is unlocked at the start of WoL. For the first time they gave patch notes for every affected character but Olimar is not there.
Is there a map for the Any% route?
Also, Smash 3DS and Wii U had an 1v1 Iron Man category, one for For Glory and one Local on CPUs. For Glory would be Quickplay in Ultimate. For Local, custom stages are gone, and handicap or items could be banned. Was this too unpopular to be added or is it a legit addition?
Oh, I get it now. Thanks.
So it's like this?
JPN / USA Easy = Beginner Normal = Normal Hard = Expert Red = [nothing]
