Cr3eVe, you clearly didn't read the opening post. ask the moderators themselves, they are clearly active.

you ¤really¤ should post this on the sm64 subforum, not on the general forum.
to quickly summarize my thoughts: -Sub/Super aren't as important as hyper -Less clutter on the LB Page (sr.com doesn't handle many IL cats that well - it'll become a scrollfest) -Sub/Super categories are still available unlike on the Fast Racing Neo board
I'll remove the misc. tag, so you don't need to press "Show All" anymore, but I'm strongly opposed to the idea of them being on the "front page" for the sake of readability. (4 IL categories is about the maximum sr.com can handle without adding a scrollbar at the top)
when the leaderboard overhaul finally comes around, I'll re-organize some stuff, but that's ways off from now.

imo the biggest problem with allowing comments on runs would be the botspam, we already get enough of those in some game-specific forums, sometimes on the general forums here, and by allowing comments on every run, it would essentially create a mod-free space that could be abused.
I say mod-free space because I can assure you, the boards with higher activity will surely get flooded with comments, I doubt any of these moderators would keep notifications on when they get spammed with stuff they don't have interest in. "userxyz has commented on userxzy's runcategory (time) run of gamenamehere | 5 hours ago"
Added this suggestion as "Leagues Revisit", as it's post-game, not NG+. Subcategory "Story Leagues" only consists of the Leagues Green, Blue, Red & Chroma, "All Leagues" includes Iron League.
(also cleaned up the whole Board a bit, but shhh) /edit(12.06): cleaned up the Board for real this time, btu still shhh.

seems like a fun, short category - don't mind adding it. Although: would that include iron league or not? (personally, I'd not include it)

and exactly that is why self-verification is something that should be avoided.

Love this community so far, trying to improve on myself has never been so fun.
uploading a run without having a timer on-screen is fine (at least in my books).
There are multiple ways to approach timing with console games (tbh it's the same as PC games except there's no way to get an autosplitter) Inhouse products like the elgato software or avermedia's RECentral don't offer any way to alter the videofeed.
-
Time by Framecounting -Doesn't require a timer on-screen -You can use the program of the capture card -Is tedious -is the most accurate
-
Overlay a timer like LiveSplit with a streaming program -Needs more cpu-power than letting the capture card encode
-
Overlay a timer in with a video-editor like Sony Vegas -Needs more time (reencoding the video)
-
(If given) Just use the on-screen streaming time of the console + math -Works on PS4 (dunno about about XBone)
-
Don't overlay the timer -easiest & most lazy approach
as the game doesn't have a moderator... you want to post a request for moderation rights here: https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7 otherwise your and every other run for that game will never get verified.
