Very nice. I like how the first submitted full run of this game had no video proof... very cool :) :)
Wait what how do you do it with the stamp? I did think of another thing, sometimes there are letters that you press jump to view and I wondered if you could do this glitch with them... doesn't matter now I guess haha
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I traded my skull for a sticker.......... how useful. Was already level 20 so I didn't get to level up using glitches, didn't experiment with death more, didn't use it during an important cutscene, didn't use it on the flying remote control thing... many more I'm probably forgetting. Nice.
If you do this to the basket collector cat thing, then some super crazy shit happens. You can walk around changing outfits, change how many items are in the pause menu, etc.
Press pause, then press pause again but hold A afterwards to get skull on screen while walking. Even easier.
Another thing I've noticed: if you open skull and hold X, time will still continue while you are equipping items.
EDIT: If you do this near those chasing spike things, you can destroy them without taking damage
Getting a sticker puts the sticker book on top of the screen (and I assume you still move through the pause menu as well as moving character), getting a ruby just causes all the time and stuff beneath the pause menu but nothing crazy, quicker method of getting the skull while walking is to press a while in the paused and walking glitch, going to the next area fixes the glitch. Dying is a lot more interesting. Talking to people in town just has the text beneath the pause menu, nothing crazy.
I wonder what happens if you level up...
When you die the pause menu... sort of goes away? Hard to describe but this is really crazy
If you equip skull, press A to view it, hold down start and press X (or item equip button) to put it away, you will now be moving around with the pause menu on screen.
If you press X, and view the skull then you can walk around with that on screen as well.
This could lead to crazy shit I'm sure, please let me know if you find something cool with it :)
While in control of the robot thing, if you die and press x, y or a (switch, not sure what the buttons are on other platforms), the camera will be stuck on the robot thing but you can move your character at the same time. Seems pretty useless right now but I want to test going to new areas or press r on switches and etcetera.
wait this isn't really a big deal, you have to slash your sword while you're touching ground (but it can still take you off the edge in mid air). It will let you go slightly further I guess but probably won't be useful. You can do any number of slashes after the original and still jump, but one is best.
if you press the item equip button (shift on pc) after wall jumping, then you can climb the wall without using the giraffe. It is possible to go through that part at the end of the opening, but it leads to a dead end. I have no idea if there are any spots in the game where you don't have the giraffe so this is probably pretty useless.
I managed to do a dash-wall jump (my name for the tech used at the end of summit b-side) on a wall with spikes on it. I don't know how but I didn't die and shot off in the direction the spikes were facing.
Version was 1.2.1.11 as far as I know.
Is this known?

I did it fellas
one problem: I looked away from my switch while holding right with one of the letters in my hand and it disappeared. No idea what happened lol
I look forward seeing what kind of skips you guys come up with (if any).
How to do it: requires two or more letters. You move the first letter (that's what I used idk if the others work) down into the thing and then confirm it. if you were close to the laser then the letter should be through it. Do it again so you have two in the laser. Then do that trick again inside the laser to get one of the letters out. Good luck.
At the puzzle after strap, with vile, if you come in from the left then LIE spawns to the left of typoman. Another useless softlock
