If you die into a spawn point, you activate it and spawn from there. This might not even be called a glitch, just something noteworthy I thought

Just finished a run, a chance to try this glitch again I suppose. Everytime I tried it without beating the game didn't really work, might just require a chapter complete instead of entire game but who knows. I hope I get it again

Context, I just beat the game casually and then closed the game. Reopened it (while recording) and reset data to do a Story Mode New Save speedrun. Wasn't happy with the starting so reset data again, next time I picked up the gun thing I was autofiring from the 2nd weapon.

I haven't been able to replicate this.

If this could be done just from getting the 2nd weapon, resetting data twice in this weird way, would that even be allowed for New Save?

We don't even know how level skip works but you just spam the button during the fade out

I still don't know how this works, but I put a link in resources to a modded version of the game to test this easier.

I have observed that on the very first frame of fadeout, the cat ninja is not rolling. When fading into the next level, it is rolling down right (down right not due to momentum, because I scrape the wall on the right for a little bit). It is possible this has nothing to do with it though.

I'll try and do it again to see wtf is going on but I'm guessing it only works because of the door closing. If we can somehow get to the bottom loading zone of every level with some weird tricky movement then the whole any% run is dead.

When this becomes confirmed by Fin and Kohlmannm (I could be lying and faked it, but I swear to God it's real), then will it be allowed in Any% NLS? No Level Skip already literally skips a level anyway (but allowed because it's not using the level skip glitch, like this).

this run 1 year ago was the first record below 5 minutes.

I don't know how it happened but I was walking around in 3.8, and without even getting a different colour I decided to turn off my game (I play on switch). The next morning when I loaded the game back up and pressed continue, I was at floor 3, level 9. I am very confused, but also I am not complaining because 8 looked like a bitch to complete anyway.

I am curious what happens if you start a new game instead of restarting the challenge. Can someone try this? I really don't want to play it all through again tbh

I don't know if this is known, but I noticed that if you teleport and then press restart challenge, you teleport normally but your colour changes to white. Could be useful in some places, I'm not really sure. It's hard to follow the pace of wr and I haven't even finished the game casually yet lol

Also, are there any side effects in teleporting while changing level?

Yeah softlocking happens when you press the "exit button" too many times, not really sure what causes it.
