@st4rwave Yeah I just took another look, seems everything appears as so and checks out I've added you to the game.
@wilderjoe He has added you to the series after discussing it with him.
@st4rwave I don't have a problem adding you, but do you have a run for the game? Its better for runners to request moderation.
@TornRose This is true but one of them are fairly active, you should attempt to make contact with the series mod through their linked social media links. I would like to add that simply adding the missing games is not a good idea when there are currently no runs provided to warrant adding. As for category extensions, can you list which games need these and preferably post those requests here; https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/be179
@wilderjoe I will attempt to try and reach out.
@Sharpeye468 I've made you the super mod on the board, though I placed Howell as regular mod.
@Kirua No problem, let me know if anything else occurs.
@Kate While they do appear inactive, they seem pretty active on twitter. The least I ask is to let them know directly.
@Lu-I Like I mentioned to @Tohelot I'm going to give Acefrog a little bit more time seeing as hes been inactive at right about the three week mark. If nothing happens within the next week we'll move things forward between the two of you.
@XYX You were placed as Super Mod for the game and can make changes to the board as need be. This thread is for moderation requests only.
@Tohelot He still appears to have a little time to come back online, I'll give him another week before making any changes.
@Sharpeye468 Oh, my bad I was looking at that image which appears to still have been awhile ago and he has been offline. However, I will ask that you connect social media to your account so that others can contact you regarding things on the leaderboard and whatnot as this is a requirement now afterwards we'll move things forward.
@Kate Can you provide a direct link to the board you are mentioning?
@mr_double07 Removed one of the super mods since they have ben inactive for a year, moved the other to regular mod and added you to the board as super.
@JayKayGame Seems you have this already sorted.
@BreadForBrunch Mod appears inactive for over two months, removed and added you to the board.
@Sharpeye468 Seems you have this already sorted.
@beterika Done.
@XYX Appears offline for nearly half a year, moved the current mod to regular. Request granted.
@LeftSideWorldwide Both appear pretty inactive, however bubbles will remain as super mod. I will move you to regular mod, if bubbles no longer wants to resume as super please have him post here or to get in touch with one of site staff.
@Kid_Gamer They appear active, its true that the twitter handle is suspended however their other social media links seem active. Let us know if anything came out of the whipser.
@nitramsic42 You must have social media connected to your account before applying for any moderation duties, also Jelly was last active 2-3 days ago we recommend reaching out to him.
@D3XTER92 Both appear inactive for a year (one who has no contacts). Removed both, and moved you to super mod for the game.
@YogiBearback The super mod appears inactive for over a year however Ossra seems to be active. I will move Ossra to super and you to regular mod, I will reach out if need be.
@Nazgurath Appears that they are inactive but also have no social media attached to their category also considering the board has no runs, I will move you to super and remove the inactive mod.
@Sizzyl Appears that you do and the current mod is inactive and has no social media contact methods, will remove and add you to the game.
@Otterstone_Gamer Also appears to be inactive along with no contact methods, will remove the current mod and add you to the game.
@JKxWinG Seems you have this already sorted.
@SkipMcLazy Removed the mod who had no contact methods along with being inactive, although Akers appears to have contact methods I have moved him to regular mod due to being inactive. I have moved you to super mod for the game.
@SharkGang I feel we should wait a few more days before making changes, afterwards you'll be filling in the role.
@Kirua I will look into this further and comment more on this as soon as possible.
@thevk This person already appears to be super mod, the other person you are mentioning was active 9 hours ago in this post. I recommend making contact with K_Dumsky and explaining this situation to him.
If I missed anyone, sorry about that was a lot to go through. If I missed someone please @ me and I will get to you.
@Sladkésny Done and the new URL is change to; https://www.speedrun.com/dwarf_complete_pc
I could almost call this thread bait, but I decided to give you an straight forward honest response and I understand how you feel. Though I still firmly believe most of this wasn't warranted and you could've contacted us in other ways through the "About" page to find a list of staff members.
The answer was given; It has been submitted a couple times, those were given reasons though eventually I personally gave up providing reasons.
Just to add onto this, I remember a guy who literally resubmitted nearly 10 times for some web game. He would not listen to anything we had to say and we stopped giving him reasons but people can always resubmit...it never ends. I'm not trying to blame the users here, but some of it does come from them. People sometimes also just resubmit without even changing their notes or messages in hopes we'll just blindly accept it. Don't get me started with people who actually want to argue through the submissions itself! Some people even bring up the most ridiculous points just to get a game that clearly doesn't quality as a speedrun accepted onto the site. There's also people who literally never bother reading the guidelines too. You get people who literally argue to death about "THIS GAME EXISTS THOUGH!"....yeah before all the guidelines and quality improvements.
It goes on and on, I try, we all try. Since I handled this game, I felt the game spoke for itself as to why it shouldn't even qualify as a speedrun...let alone a game.
You don't because why would anyone be able to see a previous reject from another user? That potentially causes more people to further create more threads and even humiliate people. You are coming off passive-aggressive honestly. We've given short reasons before and let me tell you people still fight over it, whose to say you wouldn't either? You said you've seen the many threads, I'm sure you should be quite aware.
Without a doubt there could still be improvements, but for this games case, its very obvious that this is not something worth accepting (let alone getting worked up over).
As Habreno said, its not much of a game at all much alone a speedrun. It has been submitted a couple times, those were given reasons though eventually I personally gave up providing reasons. The content speaks for itself but that doesn't mean that just because its a meme doesn't mean it doesn't get to be held up by the quality standard too.
If you've seen all the threads, you should know pretty fast why eventually we end up giving up on providing reasons. Because either way, it stops no one from complaining or making a thread or resubmitting.
Looks like not even a few days, I recommend waiting for a couple weeks or something because the moderator for it seems active. Game moderators also have lives and have other things to attend too, but if by that time they still haven't let a full moderator on the site know.
Everything done above this post.
