i wondered the same thing so i decided not to use any of the exploits on my run except for the laser eyes chick in the boss fight

I wouldn’t say SRC is dead for zombies and I do understand how overwhelming the moderation process can be having experience with numerous games myself, I do believe it would be beneficial to everyone in the community if more moderators willing to look through runs be brought onto the team. Obviously this would entail longer verification times as the moderators would be watching runs frame by frame looking for splices, glitches, ect. But the pros significantly outweigh the cons. those are just my thoughts though . Thanks y’all :)

@VGamingTTV all the terminus runs also uses glitches btw. And those are submitted by the staff team themself

Why are we banning glitches just to ban them?

I think banning glitches is necessary cos they will be fixed anyway according to last updates and this is not some sp game where u can downgrade patch for runs. So when they fix whatever glitch was used for current WR, there is no way to redo it for a new runner.

hey i dont know where to ask this question but i wanna start speedrunning but i dont how to set it up. is there an automated script splitter for any game and catagory or do i have to script myself?

@BoogieBeebies Some games have it some games don’t you need to go into your livesplit settings and select the game and category and see if there is a checkbox to enable the autosplitter it should tell you if it’s supported or not.

ok another question is then is there someone else that basically times me when i upload a speedrun or does it go off my time?

@BoogieBeebies the moderators will traditionally retime runs using SomeWes Frame counter of something similar, although ik some moderators just accept the time you submit. just to be safe I would always retime my own run on SomeWes. Isn't it basically when you use the Aetherella in the boss fight basically a glitch, because it isn't used to be in there, as far as i know is it something you can suck in the boss area what basically is now a thing but would possibly be patched soon enough, that's why i see a lot of ppl abusing the bug to get advantage on it

Please review this one again, and request Green's POV. They were three operators to start, and at the end Green turns into Aetherella. This feels like a glitch or an exploit.

Not saying not use Aetherella (my run uses it, but we use it as the fight starts, right after collecting the last piece.) Just seems really sus that this player turns into Aetherella at the very end after going down twice.
