I don't know if it's possible to skip any cycles in this level, maybe if you're fast enough to can skip the tiny bit of waiting on the 3rd cannon? But it all depends on the last cannon if that would even save time so who knows? I was quite lucky to not fall off right at the end, but so happy that I clutched it!
