- Approved Emulators
Use either Xenia Canary or RPCS3. Any version is fine, but it is recommended to stick to the latest version, or the version that work best on your PC. Ensure the game looks similar enough to the original.
2. Framerate Settings
Set your framerate to 30FPS or 60FPS. It's not required, but highly recommended to display your framerate. You can use V-sync to make sure that framerate it limited.
3. Run Type
Emulators are allowed for full game runs only in their relevant subcategory. Emulator runs should not be submmited to the console leaderboard. ILs on emulators are not supported at the moment and will be rejected.
4. Allowed Mods
The following mods are optional and allowed to use:
a) "Performance Enhancement Unleashed" - May help and may not, feel free to try it.
b) "Sonic Unleashed Fixes" - The files in "dlcfixesmanualpatch" are necessary for Xenia to load Windmill Isle Act 1-2 Day. This mod also changes the layout in some other stages slightly, so keep that in mind.
c) "AMD Grass Explosion Fix" - This mod seems necessary for people with AMD GPU, and gives no advantage.
d) "Remove Motion Blur" - This mod is the equivalence of RPCS3's patch "Disable Motion Blur", so it will be allowed to use.
You may install any of these mods manually or by using Unleashed Mod Manager.
Feel free to contact a moderator on Discord if you think of any other mods are essential. The goal is to improve playability while remain as close as possible to the original game.
5. Xenia Users
For Xenia, you can use any community patches, including the 60FPS unlock. You can press F5 to clean caches.
6. RPCS3 Users
Default settings are usually fine for RPCS3. Refer to the RPCS3 wiki for additional settings. Ensure your framerate limit is 60/30 and not unlocked.

Keep in mind that if you're using Vulkan, you'll want to set "1280x720 Resolution" patch to False
