I know 1 hit is possible all along, just didn't know you had to disable vsync for it.
OK, can confirm now that I disabled vsync, I got the multihits, also got one hit on 3rd try.
Is the multihit somehow tied to framerate? Because I can't run the game with high settings, and I couldn't get those crazy hits, at best I've got like 5 hit Mia. Tried for several hours.
You can get the defence and strength coin on Madhouse, from bird cages on the main hall. Costs like 7 and 8 coins.
When you get the blue and red keycard, you use up every slot without the shoes. You could send the shoes to the box at Marg or something, since you can send the reward items to the box by "deleting" them.
You can jump all you want, as long as you don't bind the jump to mouse scroll wheel.
On PC you can use a plugin for Livesplit to remove loads automatically. Check the Resources on this site to find it. On Ps4 and Xbox you have to do it manually. Mods can do it, although because it takes some time we don't bother with every run, just ones that are on top of the leaderboard.
Do you have global hotkeys set on on livesplit's settings. Other than that I don't know what's the problem.
Like Mattmatt said, we did experiment with both high and low framerates. We didn't find anything useful, and I'm not sure if it would've been allowed anyway, given that you had to modify the games setting files to make that happen.
You just have to practice it, you'll get feel for it eventually. I don't know how to explain the jump, just get the angle just about right, then after first jump, jump backwards. I remember struggling for a while when I started trying it on PC, because the level loads faster than PS4, but eventually I got it right.
The run is very reset heavy on first chapter, at least was for me. After sp00ky mist skip it's easy until groom skip.
Yeah, that has been tested extensively like Andy said, sadly the checkpoint isn't there.
There's no video, but if this is what I think it is, then it's almost as old as the actual skip used on any%. Not going to work.
You have to land close to the wall, so the angle you jump has to be right. You can test if you have the shrunk hitbox by pressing crouch. If you don't crouch, you have to glitch. That disables your jump though, so you can't do that on this skip, but it's good for practising.
I think it's best to either keep them all seperate or together, it's too messy to change it on category basis.
Same server is used for both games, but I thought I'd add the invite link here as well.

Edit from Symystery: Updated invite link
If anything insane glitchless is closest to normal glitchless. Pretty much only difference is couple of encounters with Chris (Sewers, Courtyard, Return to Administration). Every one of those can be done with small adjustments, and combined they add maybe a minute to the time at most.
Kenantitan, I'm not to only mod you know. Stop making threads just for me. And my opinion about adding new category like this is no, because like Dom says it doesn't add that much variation and I feel like there wouldn't be many runners for it. But I leave it for other mods to decide.
How is it ridicilous. Most of the time it's couple of days at most, that's very good for something that is completely voluntary work for the mods.
