I have ran through the game with it and its not bad. I certainly got used to it. But yeah, I can understand why it would be rejected.
Would runs still be accepted even with the graphical error? Just curious.
The PC version of this game is just a mess on newer systems. The thing is, I never knew the game was running faster then intended. I thought the 120 FPS I was getting was how the game was meant to be played (I'm a dumbass I guess lol).
You where 100% right on rejecting my runs, I didn't realize I wasn't playing the game at the intended speed. The game runs fine now and fixes all the glitches I found while running on 120 FPS.
I'm now doing runs on 60 FPS (The one you accepted is 60FPS) and sub 40 is easily possible with it.
Sorry for wasting your time on this.
EDIT: Would you like me to record the steam FPS overlay on my future runs?
Okay I was not aware of the video being unavailable for you, it is not for me :(
I did not unlock my FPS. I simply capped it to make it stable using the same method the HP2 PC community does.
So the game runs at 120 FPS for me. I capped it to stay that way because the FPS would sky rocket when picking up items which lead to the screen where you examine the item being 700+ fps allowing you to skip it instantly.
I have tweaked some graphics settings and have the game running at 60FPS instead now. I don't know why the game was capping it at 120 and after deciding not to use my integrated graphics (Now using my NVIDIA), it goes to 60 and stays consistent.
I feel like a complete idiot so I apologize and will use these settings for my future runs. Thank you for explaining.
Please explain so I can adjust the video/new PB.
I think speedruns of PotD would be somewhat interesting, 1-10 solo etc. Has anyone tried doing it yet?
I have already requested it. If you would like to see a Japanese speedrun of the game (Obviously spoilers) then here:
Well the primary audience for women comedians is women, so most of their jokes try to relate to the same sex. Thats probably why you don't find them funny.
What do you mean by section? I already know people that have been routing it so its never too early. Thats decided by the community but mostly people decide not to use DLC that give an advantage in their speedruns.
Sukimos is a great Metal Slug player/speedrunner. His Youtube channel has a bunch of tricks and level guides mostly for MSX. He can be hard to understand sometimes but he has a lot of resources to help you get started.
Feel free to edit SMT: Persona as you see fit, I decided not to make it the same leaderboards as the PS version.
I would totally be down for that if it wasn't the 3DS version, which is what I assume you're using. I don't have any means of capturing my 2DS.
I'm actually kinda' in the midst of routing Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. TSA. Can't promise myself that I will finish it though. If anyone wants to help or has any suggestions please let me know! :D
Emulators are not banned at all, its up to the mods whether they are or not. Just wanted to say that purchasing a NTSC-U PS2 (Especially 90001) and the game while being from EU is very expensive.
EDIT: Get the game here: https://www.speedrun.com/ppgdot/guide/zf3f2
SO:FD does not have multiple difficulties unlike the sequels. "Galaxy" and "Universe" can only be cheated in using codes and custom firmware. So that means the time can't start on difficulty select instead the time starts after Roddick is named.
Also last hit is on Neo Revorse not Jie.
:)
I was not acting like I was in charge of anything. What I'm saying is you should use what you have, regardless of the game. Even if you have to class it as a different category.
PS1 emulation is pretty accurate. If you wanna' run with emulator so be it, probably be a different category or w/e.
