Make sure you are running bio3 as admin and that the place where the saves go to is a place where you have admin rights.

If I was to perform a speedrun on Emulator, would that be okay to submit to the PS2 category or is it not allowed/new category should be made? I'm not sure what Emulator does to the IGT, but I imagine its faster x-x

Fixed by changing the pad to Digital instead of Analog :D

Tried using PSXjin but it just isn't working for me. The game will load but my keys don't work, I can't press anything and if I press space (which is mapped to frame advance) it breaks the whole emulator. Has anyone done anything to get the buttons to actually work? I've poked around on google but no luck.

So you are okay with a person only using just a keyboard, yes? It is almost impossible to tell if a run is using multiple controllers, keyboards or hell even a fightstick or guitar hero controller.

I can kind of understand what you are getting at. For example, I use a laptop with a USB keyboard which means I technically have 2 J keys, so I could mash both simultaneously for a faster mash. If I was to run the game on keyboard and I used this, would you say this is cheating?

I still think using extra controllers should be okay, I cannot think of a speedrun board that does this (let me know if there is). It is very hard to tell if I a runner is using more then one input device. I think turbo should be banned as this is different to using an extra controller.

The problem is that its pretty much close to impossible to buy a legal copy of the Taiwanese PC version. This is an issue for some people especially in countries with strict copyright laws (Japan, for example).

if you're only practicing then you can try something like epxse? PSXjin has never worked for me (Though I haven't messed around with it a lot).
