Anyone, thoughts on the Dentures emulator? Should we allow this?
One more thing: you can apply a Render Delay as a filter to LiveSplit by the appropriate amount of delay, which will sync your splits with your video.
You need to use a program which can display video from multiple sources at once and encode it into a single video. The most recommended software for this by far is OBS Studio--you'll want to set up a Window Capture for LiveSplit and a Video Capture Device for your capture card on the canvas.

It's a real shame the devs forced the aging update on us, speedrunners playing at lower ages have a clear advantage. We'll need a category split.
OP is certainly welcome to prove me wrong though.
It's a little late for that...
Anyway, I still have to find more preferred fonts for myself but I've found Segoe UI to be good in a large set of circumstances, it's a pretty classy sans-serif font. (Microsoft uses it in its products and branding, if it's recognizable.) Hard to go wrong with Times New Roman or Helvetica, unless you tire of popular things.
@Dare Almost certainly not, the site moderators just aren't going to accept series connected by developer if they're not part of an actual series or franchise. Accepted series requests nowadays aren't common. If you want to connect the community of your various games, consider merging the various Discord servers that exist.
I believe Kosmic actually uses a foot pedal connected to his computer running LiveSplit to split his timer manually, you'll hear the "thunk" every time he splits.
It's possible that the YouTube frame timer you are using is giving you inaccurate values (this can happen if the video buffers at any point), so the safest method is always to download the video (assuming your downloader is good) and time it with software.

I've wobbled back and forth on this topic, and though I don't fully understand, here's a few (not all) reasons it's discouraged:
- Relevancy. The threads that have been necroed are not relevant in the present. The poster who necroed the thread could just have easily found a more recent thread with the same information or made a new post specific to their topic. Necroing forces readers to sift through potentially irrelevant material by people who may be long gone to get to the new comment.
- Necroposting comes off as a sign that the necroposter did not fully read the original post for comments, and may continue to do so as others reply.
- It's inherently strange to restart a conversation after year(s) of staying silent. (Before the internet, this must have been kept for very important discussions only, right?)
That said, the consistent growth of the internet means there will forever be new people who don't know internet etiquette and will necropost, even if rules forbade them. It's no use getting too upset.

Yeah, the skill in speedruns comes from going fast more than anything like aiming, so anything the game provides to make things quicker is free game (generally). Since auto-aim is a feature designed to help controllers be as accurate as mice, I don't see issues in using it.
