Yes, i've previously denied runs that only showed the end of the run, but during the time i was inactive I saw runs being accepted that only showed the end, so i ended up accepting these runs too. I didnt really think about it at the time.
I do agree runs should show the entire process to be considered legitimate, and ill also forward this to funado.
Edit: We've now added the general rule of being required to show the full gameplay in all categories. We've also removed all runs that don't follow that rule.
If we missed any feel free to message me or funado about it.
well people have already posted their best single level times in the IL Leaderboards. So if you want to try and beat those go ahead!
Number 1 on tutorial and 200 points blue got removed for being sped up. actually stood there for more than a year.
I know im like half a year late, but im currently in the process of retiming everything. Read sticky for more info.
Information about timing runs: Don’t know if anyone is going to read this but just wanted to put this here in case people want to know how to time their runs. I am currently in the process of re-timing every run on the leaderboards with these methods, which takes a really long time. I will edit this when I finish each leaderboard (see bottom of post) Basics of re-timing runs: with this website: https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/ you can re-time the exact time the run takes. It's explained how on the site itself. Timing tutorial runs. The starting frame for tutorial runs is when the checkmark at the start has been released (so after it changes color). Images to understand better: https://imgur.com/a/MVRHXqT Second image is the starting frame. (In rare cases it’s the first image, but this only happens when the run was done on a mobile device) If you can’t see when the checkmark has been released, use the first frame where the starting board moves as the starting frame. The ending frame for tutorial runs is the same as for point runs, it’s the first frame of the gnome’s transformation to a statue. Again, images to understand better: https://imgur.com/a/GIwo05W The second image is the ending frame Timing point runs (200, 500 and 750). The starting frame of point runs is when the gnome leaves the catapult. Images for better understanding:
Second image is starting frame The ending frame of point runs is the same as tutorial runs, but you can also tell by the restart button moving, so its even easier to tell which frame it is. Images for better understanding:
And the second image is (again) the ending frame. Note that all runs will be re-timed this way in the future. NOTE: I might just delete any% runs since they’re kinda pointless and hard to re-time. Re-time progress: Tutorial: Finished 200:

I just remembered i made this post 1 year ago or something and I see a reply. I still think 2p category would be nice and yes i agree with those rules. Should be called a coop speedrun if you can also use more than 2p.
Hi, I was wondering how the #1 run of obtain diamond was able to spawn on the second island in his run. Also, should this be allowed?
all right. now since the timing is from the exact frame the gnome is detached, all runs that use the other timing should be retimed. im willing to do that btw.
alright thanks, but shouldnt the rules be changed from when the gnome is in the air, to when you click on the catapult to launch it. or are all the times on the leaderboard going to be retimed from when the gnome is in the air.
also, i submitted a run but it isnt verified. why is that? ok thx :)
oh yea and i forgot to mention: in every category it says: 'timer starts when the gnome starts to fly' but every time starts from when you click the screen or press spacebar to launch the catapult.
in the 750 point category, these are the rules:
'Earn 750 points with this gnome. Timer starts after gnome starts to fly and ends after his transformation into a statue. Everything is allowed, but not cheating.'
every speedrun in this category follows these rules, exept the world record. It says its 'retimed', but the time thats on the leaderboards is counted from when he hits 750 and not when he turns into a statue (Like it clearly says in the rules and everyone else has done). just look at this video in which the 'world record' is set: the guy even has the right time in the title.
Bryce if you’re still interesses in flash games you should definitly try choppy orc (has 44 active speedrunners now)
so i made this: it's a (theoretical) perfect run of all rounds with glitches. remember that this is not done by a human in a single segment.
