sorry this link should work
here is a playlist of mini-tutorials me and bluecrystal made:
dont do first day nether if you're not going for wr, always make sure you're spending every night cycle hunting enderman if you need pearls
These rules are slightly outdated, added new rules to every single category including level leaderboards just now.
I think it's allowed, but your run would be under 'F3".
That rule only applies to random seed, for set seed anything is fair game for finding or optimizing seeds.
We will prob separate categories in the future but the idea behind the "mine" categories was that you obtain an emerald or a diamond without structures. Creepers just happen to be a way you can obtain an emerald/diamond without structures, so we should prob define categories better.
I think you need to delete your options folder, you can back it up though.
Your render distance needs to be low for it to work I think
All achievements/All advancements is the 100% equivalent, there is no real 100% in this game.
As of now, there is no current ban on leaving the server, but that might change.
Those are there to signify people not to submit to that specific category, the glitchless and glitched categories are combined until a glitch is proven to make the category faster.
I remember running this game for fun in 2013, decided to come back and see if I could get WR. I think it's getting too optimized for me to want to grind much more, lol.
Not sure if this is known. It didn't seem useful when I first did it but then the collision of a random wall was missing.
btw on another note, Turrell is spelled with two l's and not one.
Time Attack is similar to Real Time except you can pause the timer + game whenever. This is convenient for the Japanese runners because of how the broadcasting in Nico Live works.
I'm not sure why the in-game timer isn't working though, I'll ask Geosquare.
We use Time Attack method for Any% Glitchless Random Seed because of the Japanese community, so I would recommend using LiveSplit.
If you still want to use the In-game timer for 1.12, go to "Resources" and click on "Minecraft In Game Timer (1.7+)" by Geosquare
I'm assuming a lot of server lag probably caused the invincibility to last longer then usual. You can relog just make sure you get the in game time.
