I ask this because i want to run but i dont want to be not verified because i didn't do something, Do we have a camera on both our console and some sort of timer? What should i know about setting up a ds run

you don't need to have a timer shown in your video, as we retime every run that gets submitted anyways. The main way many console runners do it is that they just have a camera set up showing their DS screen while they play.
