You need to click and drag up and down to peel the apple try to drag fast but straight don't drag at an angle.
For cutting the apple click and hold while cutting.
For the stew just try to turn the slider to hot as fast as possible.
For pressing the dough just know where to click and then SPAM pretty simple.
For the fork spam but make sure to move your cursor around a lot to vary the holes because it makes it go faster.
For spreading just go in a slow circle around the edge and then decrease the circle size until its filled.

Cutting the lines does not need an explanation.
For the fork you spam and spin your cursor around the edge and hope you get it.
For the egg click it once the frame you can.
For the stirring pick the top one if its not the whisk restart and when you are stirring try to spill the bowl as fast as possible.
To spill the bowl, shake your hand or mouse up and down with a small left or right movement.

Cooking Mama 2: How to be the fastest worst cook possible (All Recipes Guide-WIP)

Good evening, amateur cook. I see you're here for the most delicious course, the fast course. That's cool! But when you're going fast, theres no time for steaming a good ham, unfortunately. This guide will teach you on how to be the worst fastest cook possible. 

Being a fast cook in this game will sometimes involve you actually doing what Mama wants, so you know. This is usually whenever a step is simply not command-failable, except by clock, and obviously the step itself would be faster than the clock, otherwise the game would be impossible. So whenever a step is not command-failable, do what Mama wants. Let's move.

-Add the ingredients! ★
Simply chuck a random ingredient in the bowl 3 times. If you get unlucky enough to chuck the correct ingredient in on the first try, use that same ingredient to fail afterward, as you never use the same ingredient twice.

-Mix it! ★
Select the whisk and stir as fast as possible to spill the bowl.

-Knead the dough!
Perform as normal.

-Let the dough rise! ★
Don't let that dough rise. Touch it as soon as you're able to.

-Squish the filling!
Mash on the dough to raise the bar. Mashing in places you haven't mashed on in a while will make the bar rise faster.

-Roll out the pizza! ★
Spin it once to get it spinning, then don't touch it. It'll soon fall off.

-Spread it on thick!
Perform as normal.

-Arrange the food! ★
Press 'Finished' as soon as you're able to. You never liked Mama's toppings anyway.

-Set the oven! ★
Press 'Ok' twice as soon as you're able to.

Flip the pot straight up high as soon as you can, and keep it held up. The step will end early upon all the contents of the pot being gone.

Constantly sliding left and right works, you don't need to stop holding after each.

Grind either salt or pepper only until it fills the bar all the way to the opposite end.

Be very, very thorough. A couple pixels and you won't be shifted along the apple.

Mash all over the pie and keep moving. Try to not run over holes you previously made until they fade away or you'll slow down.

Click on the left eggshell as soon as you can to spill the yolk.

Click on the heat dial once to set the heat, then press 'Stop' at the bottom as quickly as possible.

While you do need to let go to do the second knife cut, you don't need to let go for the 2 slices at the end.

Fill the bowl with water, then stir quickly in circles. When prompted to tip the bowl, swipe hard to the left to spill everything.

-Prepare the squid!
The ink does not matter, even for a gold.

While extremely oversized circles work, tiny ones don't.

Let it stew! ★
Turn the heat all the way up as soon as you're able to and watch it burn.

Mash as fast as possible to spill the powder.

-Separate the egg! ★
Click on the left eggshell as soon as you can to spill the yolk.

Perform as normal.

Pick the large rolling pin, then roll up and down quickly to throw the pin.

-Cut out the shapes!  ★
Press 'Finished' as soon as you're able to. You never liked Mama's cutters anyway.

-Spread it on with a brush!
Make sure to slide all the way down, or you'll barely not finish one, and won't be allowed to start on the next one.

-Bake in the oven! ★
Click on the heat dial once to set the heat, then press 'Stop' at the bottom as quickly as possible.

-Pour the liquid!
It's faster to do this step properly rather than fail it.

-Slice up!
You don't need to stop holding at all to finish this step.

-Put the filling in a dish!
It saves about 1.5 seconds of time to be too weak rather than too strong.

Cooking Mama 2: How to commit Apple Pie Abuse (Burn Apple Pie% Guide)

So, you, for some reason, really, really, REALLY hate Apple Pies. Well, you probably need to get that checked out, but until I have the clearance to, I'm instead going to teach you how to burn that pie as quickly as possible. The actual run itself is not very technical. You merely need good execution to score a good time. But this kitchen is gonna burn down if I keep stalling. Lets move.

Oh, and before you start trying to run, time starts upon pressing 'Start' on the title, and ends on the first frame of the burnt pie. Read the category rules before running, or your run will be rejected.

-=- How to Burn the Apple Pie -=-

-Peel the skin!
There are five lanes across four sides of three apples you need to peel off. Start on top and peel downward. Make sure to go straight or you'll move to a different lane and stop skinning. Make sure not to let go too early, or you'll leave some skin on the bottom.

-Slice up!
Yes, the cuts are jank. Just do what you can to cut the four lines as efficiently as possible. The last cut down should be fairly straightfoward.

-Let it stew!
On 0, turn the oven dial up to max heat immediately, then let it fill the bar all the way to the right and watch that pie scorch.

-Spread the pie crust!
You need to click 5 times on each part of the crust to finish the job, though when a circle is complete, the next one actually takes a substantial delay to activate. This step is actually very easy to master.

-Cut holes using a fork!
Mash on the pie to make fork holes. Mashing on new ground and not previous holes will massively increase your bar speed, though previously made holes will soon fade away, allowing you to re-use that ground.

-Spread it on thick!
Make thorough tracks around the perimeter first, before moving in and doing another perimeter. Continue until the pie is covered. Try to sight out any places you missed before you fill the middle in so you can quickly move over and cover them.

-Cut holes in the crust!
The worst part of this run. There is no real technique here, just make sure you are accurate or it won't count.

-Press down with a fork!
Focus on accuracy rather than mashing. Mashing at a decent pace should do that side of the job, what will get you is the accuracy. Stay focused.

-Separate the egg!
On 0, click on the left eggshell to chuck the egg immediately and fail the game.

-Mix it!
Choose the Whisk and make the loops as fast as you can. Eventually, you'll spill the bowl and end the step early.

-Spread it on thick!
Make thorough tracks around the perimeter first, before moving in and doing another perimeter. Continue until the pie is covered. Try to sight out any places you missed before you fill the middle in so you can quickly move over and cover them.

-Bake in the oven!
The dial will start on the left, drag it all the way to the right and let go to set off the oven. Be ready to stop the timer on the first frame of the burnt pie (Though don't worry about being off, you can use YT Retimer to fix it. Ask in the discord!).

Cooking Mama 2: The craft of the Stars! (How Bonuses, Stars and Gifts function)

Just got done stamping out some really fine Mama Cookies, but now you're being smothered with so many gifts you wish you had enrolled in BAP%? Well, this guide will teach you everything we currently know about the craft of the Stars (Or more specifically, how Bonuses, Stars and Gifts work in Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends).

-=- So, what are bonuses? -=-
Bonuses are special points you may earn upon completing a step, under various conditions. Earning a Bonus and completing the current recipe will turn all your Bonuses into Stars. When you accumulate a total of 5 stars, you will get a gift. When you do get a gift, you will be presented with 3 gift boxes, choose one and you'll get a cosmetic prize. This is not skippable, and these gifts are a massive pain during speed runs, which is why most long to find niche little ways to avoid as many stars as possible.

-=- What are the specifics behind earning Bonuses? -=-
Bonuses can be earned in the following ways:
- Completing a step in a good amount of time relating to the clock on the upper screen (The exact point in which a Bonus is lost differs from step to step).
- Having the last two ingredients of 'Chili Dog: Kitchen catch!' land in the centre of the bun.
(This list is still WIP, as testing is ongoing)

-=- How do we avoid Bonuses? -=-
The clock on the upper screen of steps will stutter, then move faster, along with quickening its ticking intervals when you lose the Bonus on a step. Finding the most optimal places to stall and avoid the bonus is the craft of the Stars. Stars will also persist between recipes (None of this matters in BAP%, as that run is a single recipe.). Stars and Gifts on the last recipe of a run are also null and void, as the run ends before they get to make their move.

So in short, find good places to avoid bonuses.
