I just really really really REALLY need to understand this because I can't find it explained anywhere and I just... don't understand the logic behind it
Why is it necessary in NG pro to kill that one specific Ganado at the start of 1-1 village with 7 shots to the back? I assume it's some kind of AI manipulation, but I just really don't know and I just... NEED to know
Well yeah, if we're dead-set on killing him then shooting him in the head makes him cha cha too hard. But the question is more so why kill him at all? Sorry if I was unclear on that lol
If I remember correctly, killing him at a distance with those 7 shots has an affect on the spawns of the village, making the fight easier but also leads the enemies to chase you in a certain pattern every single time. Allowing the strats that are used after killing him. RE runs on a hidden difficulty scaling mechanic based on how well you play. This difficulty affects how often enemies will lunge or chase and you can manipulate the village to do what you want by killing the first ganado asap. Going for the head shot lands only one accurate shot and if it doesn't kill you aren't quite guaranteed to land the other shots to finish him which won't scale the difficulty up and then the other mobs might not gather up to be defeated easily.
Sorry if i'm off the mark but this is how I remember it.
I did a small amount of testing myself, it seems killing that one ganado is important to spawns, but for optimal VR village we actually want to kill him as late as possible, instead of earlier as one would in other versions
