Does anyone know what the worst PC has been to run this game at 60 FPS? Now I know it is a terrible port etc but I can't even stream the game at the worst resolution on windowed with it on an SSD BibleThump
Well back in the days I played it with a I5 7400, 4gb 2400 ram and a hdd (No graphics card) the game got below 30 fps when I entered 2-1 (played on 60fps but the experience was bad too on 30fps) after I got my Gtx 960 4gb and upgraded my ram to 8gb I can do my runs even with a decent stream quality on 60 fps and no frame drops or long loading times (obviously lowest graphic settings for the best gaming experience :D)
well I've got it on a SSD, with a 1060 graphics card with an AMD 6300 6 core processer and 16GB of ram and it lags when streaming and when I get to main village it lags on 1080p worst settings 60fps so I kinda have no hope now
That is really weird.. Maybe you have some settings activated on your windows that slows down your game like GameDVR (Had that problem once but with another program) tried to reinstall? (But first safe your save.game) I saw it once on another casual streamer who played the game thru on slow-mo because her game was lagging like hell even though she lowered the settings and has comparable Gear like you just with a 1070 and a Intel I remember
Yeah I might reinstall it and see if it does anything as I don't use gameDVR as i'm still on windows 8.1, what folder is the same game files held as I cannot seem to find it?
In your gamefolder (Steam>steamapps>common>Resident Evil 4>BIO4) should be a data called savegame or something like this, copy paste it on your desktop to have it as a save data when you reinstall the game and dont have your usual game file with all saves existing, so you just copy it back into the folder
Yeah so I re-downloaded it, tried it on both OBS studio and streamlabs OBS and on the worst resolution and windowed I still get slow down on the village part of 1-1 and on 1-2 so basically never learning this on PC LUL
That is really weird :/ when your obs is recording the game while you are streaming, maybe you have some recording settings that are to high, you tried to lower the CPU-Usage on OBS for the stream and record settings? that was one thing that killed my FPS aswell but I guess thats all I can do for you, sorry buddy :/
Does RE4 run fine without any streaming programs open? I also have a hunch that the FX series processors do not run RE4 well at all.
yeah I tested RE4 without having anything open and 720p worked fine while 1080p had little slow down but minute I start up any OBS and record/stream it just slows down on any graphical settings. Wouldn't surprise me if it was the processor as thats all it can be I think
