no what im saying is, if you did an red ball 4 volume 1 run in ooh 10:23, if you weren't to have skiped the first cutscene which is like 21 seconds long, your time would like 10:44.

so what im trying to get at is, whats the difference between watching the cutscene through and getting a 10:44 on the timer or skipping the cutscene and getting 10:23 but adding 21 seconds to it and getting 10:44 if that makes sence

if pressing skip doesnt do anything other than adds 21 seconds and has no affect of your gamplay whats the purpose of rejecting runs that dont show the cutscene playing when you can just add 21 second

now if pressing skip was to have some sort of effect on like where things spawn or something within the levels then sure make it a rule to have it being watched. but if it doesnt have any effect why can't i add 21 seconds or whatever to my time and have it on the leaderboard

i dont know a whole lot about this game, and this thread isnt to question the mods, im just looking for an explanation

the category is called "No Skips" so pressing the button that says "Skip" isn't allowed. The category is more of a joke category, but I'm not going to accept the run and add extra time to it because of it. If you have any more questions about the category or anything else red ball related, I suggest that you join the Discord, here's the link: https://discord.gg/SbHQXFx
