This guide will help you find the Mysterious Stones scattered around Purgatory 2. These stones serve no practical use in the game, but they are a requirement for several of the endings.

1. At the start of the game just after entering Purgatory, play as normal until you reach a branching path which splits left and right. You will also see a ladder infront of you; use that ladder to descend and take the left exit in that room. You should see the item shining behind a pane of glass. Use the entrance to the left of that pane and follow the path around to enter the room and collect the item.

2. After descending two floors from the last stone, head to the top right of the map to find the item on the floor.

3. The next area you will be in is the Streets after Enri becomes the playable character. After finishing the chase sequence, you will have a ladder directly infront of you. Take the ladder down and move right to find the stone on the floor below the spider swarm.

4. Not long after the last stone, you will need to make your way through the town, passing through a restaurant from earlier in the game. There are two staircases that take you into the basement of the restaurant; the second one will take you to a section where the stone is laying on the floor.

5. After the scene where Enri and Ebel meet near the bathrooms, return to the area where Enri saved him from D-033. The stone will have appeared in the middle of the room.

IMPORTANT: You MUST head into the room next to the door that Ebel and Enri work together to open so you can pick up the Scarlet Key. This item is required for another item later related to obtaining stone #8.

6. After the S-001 chase section, you will enter an area with a grid of different small rooms. On the bottom row of rooms, enter the 2nd rightmost room to find the stone laying on the floor. This is best done as you are leaving the area, as the exit is near the room the stone is in.

IMPORTANT: As you are making your way through the grid rooms area, you will see a small door with a red square infront of it next to where you find the Grid Map. Examine this door until you enter the room with the Scarlet Key and pick up the USB on the floor. You will NEED this item later so don't forget to pick it up here.

7. After entering the bloodbath area and meeting the newest party member Nuen, you will enter a 'lift' with a fleshy look to it. It will be in the room after you leave the room. Very hard to miss.

8. The next area after meeting Nuen is a clean white Lab area. You will enter a room with a lot of monitors on the front wall behind a console; speak to Nuen and she will take the USB item from earlier. After the cutscene/dialogue that follows, the 8th Stone will be in your inventory; this one is not 'collected' like the rest of them.

9. After fending off the red spiders towards the end of the game, Enri will enter a small room to shower. Go into the room after the cutscene finishes to find the Stone on the floor.

10. Shortly after the last stone, there will be a cutscene where the party drops D-033 down a lift shaft. You will then be in a electronic looking area with many big ventilation fans. You will see a few arrows guiding you up into the north room; ignore these arrows and follow the long path on the right until the you reach a small room. The final stone will be in that room.
