SM64 has the Usamune practice ROM, so definitely use that. Sunshine also has practice codes that you can use through Nintendont if you have a Wii with Homebrew on it.

At a beginner level, lavaboost is not worth it. Go for safe strats, and decent movement, and then slowly start learning more and more strats.

No. In Low%, you are not allowed to use ANY powerups, INCLUDING the invincibility star.

As I understand it, only the IL Leaderboards are going to be affected by this change, which means that full-game Any% runs are still going to be timed by RTA

@KilleDragon Hold on. Yoshi is required to progress through the game. I just thought you couldn't use Yoshi's POWERUPS.

@KilleDragon And apparently they don't like using emulators because it's not accurate to the original Wii? I've played on both an emulator and an original Wii, and I can't tell the damn difference aside from the emulator having faster loading times.
