For Island Cycling All Balls you're riding in free mode. When you die in freemode you're teleported near where you left off, contrast that with the flag courses where you're teleported back to the last checkpoint. It might not correctly register where you last left off, and send you to a different place; a death warp. Here's an example of a death warp in a All Balls run by V:

The SRC leaderboard rules say "Any method of moving is allowed, however all runs must be finished as intended." Deathwarping is a method of moving, but I don't think it's necessarily intended. Is it allowed to have deathwarps in a run for the SRC leaderboards?

On the one hand it makes for more interesting runs, and it might be difficult to differentiate between a death warp and simply dying. On the other hand it's a bit of a glitch/exploit. Hence why I ask.

I've been trying some speedrun attempts for 90% in subtropic, and the biggest issue seems to be getting to 40k delivered cargo.

Founding lumber mills and advertising campaigns sure help, but in my latest attempts I haven't been able to get it above 20k.

Does anyone know some strategies to increase the amount of cargo delivered, when all the industries are already connected?

I've tried to get it to 100% but I've always struggled to do so, as I was never able to have no vehicles turn a loss. I think it could be interesting to have a 100% and 90% category. I personally don't find the normal plain No-NewGRF 1M% to be very interesting, so perhaps it could be interesting to see if people could be interested in achieving a score of 90%.

In Vinnyocruz' latest run, he didn't start the timer, so how can we know if the time he set was valid?

Would it be an idea to require a visible timer, and just require that you can't do anything until the timer starts.

This category would be interesting, as it could cause a bit of an arms-race kinda deal among newgrf developers such as myself, and could make for some highly optimised runs, which would be pretty interesting.

The rules would be the same as 1M custom settings no FF, but it would allow for NewGRFs.
