Strategies for more cargo delivered in subtropic

I've been trying some speedrun attempts for 90% in subtropic, and the biggest issue seems to be getting to 40k delivered cargo.

Founding lumber mills and advertising campaigns sure help, but in my latest attempts I haven't been able to get it above 20k.

Does anyone know some strategies to increase the amount of cargo delivered, when all the industries are already connected?

My theory is there aren't enough resources to make a really good run, in the end it will always take a long time, another condition would be to transport people, which I believe is the easiest to produce, the problem is that it takes 12 minutes to spend 1 year, that is, in 2 hours we are only in 1970, so their growth takes time and the update for big buildings is about 4 hours of gameplay, where we would have many people in the same physical space.

In my view, discovering how to make cities grow as quickly as possible is the key to making it viable, including the 100% where we would only have trains that are truly economically efficient.

Another idea is to enlarge the map, but I think it generates debate.

I did a test with some cities, carrying and not carrying passengers/mail, I also carried valuables (I only had more than 2 banks after 18 years, but there are likely to be 2 banks in 15 years), another thing was, the banks were not born in the largest cities on the map, so one more was added later.

1950 Pleenford - 2496 Nahattan - 1406 Tanbridge - 1226 Brundingbury - 1190 - passanger Ludingville - 1107 Futown - 1107 - passanger

1968 Pleenford - 2469 - passanger / valuables Nahattan - 1418 Tanbridge - 1464 Brundingbury - 2184 - passanger Ludingville - 1077 Futown - 1266 - passanger Panpool Bridge - 1189 - passanger / valuables

1976 Pleenford - 3914 - passanger / valuables Nahattan - 1387 Tanbridge - 1308 Brundingbury - 2023 - passanger Ludingville - 955 Futown - 1324 - passanger Panpool Bridge - 1971 - passanger / valuables

1984 Pleenford - 5869 - passanger / valuables Nahattan - 1469 Tanbridge - 1418 Brundingbury - 2988 - passanger Ludingville - 981 Futown - 1903 - passanger Panpool Bridge - 2482 - passanger / valuables

1992 Pleenford - 6726 - passanger / valuables Nahattan - 1840 Tanbridge - 1406 Brundingbury - 4014 - passanger Ludingville - 947 Futown - 1540 - passanger Panpool Bridge - 2869 - passanger / valuables

2000 Pleenford - 7956 - passanger / valuables Nahattan - 1624 Tanbridge - 1415 Brundingbury - 5628 - passanger Ludingville - 887 Futown - 1259 - passanger Panpool Bridge - 4485 - passanger / valuables

In the end we realized that valuables do not influence growth alone, Futown was not able to grow and probably remained due to the lack of space, creating highways is essential to accelerate growth, later I do transporting goods to cities and creating new passenger routes, since I kept only one.

In this experiment, I’m only going to build things every 5 years, I’m going to provide information on the biggest cities and used ones, as the need arises I add new cities, I also used the money cheat, I spent more than 1,000,000 pounds before going the first day, we borrowed only 300,000 as normal

I could see that any city can grow with passengers, we need to feed them using goods to accelerate growth and maybe the streets are not so necessary, their location is essential, planices help a lot in growth, in the next days I will try a run using this strategy of making cities grow.

Finally I discovered how to solve the problem of Sub-Tropical with Cargo, you have to build lumber and always plant trees on them, they produce a lot and it is very easy to use to earn a lot of money and produce more goods.
