You choose to play on PC version - which runs at 25 fps. That's a choice.

I think you are an amazing IL runner / racer Tier4Jean but you're being a fool calling people who play on different versions cheaters.

PC has 3 seperate MAIN versions. 1, 2 and 3 (Steam). There is even a difference between version 1.0 and 1.01.

Android / Windows Store versions are different to PC and console versions as well.

If you want to get a better race time, race on console. If you want to play on PC, accept the consequences of that decision.

I got it to work but sometimes the issue returns after playing for a little while (read: 15 to 30 minutes). The work-around is to switch video settings from Direct3D to Software, then exit menu to game, then go back to menu, swith back to Direct3D and it works again.

The IL for Cop Wheels also has CJ getting busted, making him spawn outside the police station, right where one of those the bikes is (the third bike you took) eliminating that long drive to it.

Only issue with that is losing the weapons. To keep them one could technically date Barbara, but she asks for a fat CJ, so I don't know if that's a viable strat.

What if someone has an idea for a category that wasn't done before, they might be the first to post it here on the leaderboards, but if it catches on, more people might run it.

You/the mods are suggesting that you first spread the word about your meme run idea, get a bunch of people to do it, making sure that you/the mods know about it as well, then submitting it, as well as getting that bunch of people to submit it.

Sounds simple enough.

This should be latest version of the 100% route for GTASA. However, lately the route has been changed many times so I'm not sure how up-to-date it is. Good luck!

A more delicate question is can be asked aswell:

Big Smoke is just a cutscene. The actual mission (Sweet & Kendl) starts at the LS cemetery. Should Big Smoke be removed and replaced with Sweet & Kendl mission - with timing adapted?

This is in the same ballpark as Catalina's missions - except for the drive to the mission on the Catalina IL's and just skipping a cutscene on BS/S&K.

On the IL's Against All Odds, Local Liquor Store, Small Town Bank and Tanker Commander, at the moment, the timing starts before the actual mission starts. Timing now begins on starting either First Base, First Date, Gone Courting or Made In Heaven missions.

Do we want to keep it this way, or do we want to change the timing to contain only the mission itself, instead of the preceding cutscene/mission?

Any thoughts?

My game starts. Intro screen shows. Menu shows. From the moment I press New Game onwards everything is transparent. I first thought it might be the intro scene with Gunman on the train. But I waited it out and after departing the train (Major Archer? Major Archer? Major Archer?) And gaining real control - I still can't see anything. It does set the correct resolution for the game, but it doesn't show the game - as if everything is transparent.

Any idea what causes this, or how to fix this?

Apparently there has been a whole discussion about highscore leaderboards here https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/1gbee Which hasn't been concluded since the thread started over a year ago. So, as of yet, highscore leaderboards aren't possible.

Yeah, imagine broadening your horizons.

I think the 3 remaining school as a complete set could be nice IL challenges indeed.

@Moderators, is there a way we can have IL's that aren't about fast completion, but a highscore? (Examples: Beefy Baron, Lowrider Challenge, Dancing, Vigilante)

Also, under "🎮Sub-games" one could think of getting highscores on the arcade machines. (That goes for all the GTA titles btw)

Yeah that's nice and all but that's your idea of it. Maybe some people would insist that you also have to complete Burglary for instance.

That's why there has to be a general consensus about the definition of 13.37% or Starter Save%.

Starter save% should first off all be properly defined. In SA for instance you can get 13.37% before starting the first mission, but you can also get 3 girlfriends, do burglary, get max stats/weapon skills, get highscores on the arcade games etc. So it depends heavily of what you expect runners to do.

That said - I would definitely enjoy seeing someone running it. I just hope (for runners' sake) it won't be even longer than 100% - which it might be if too many "arbitrary" tasks are added.

Obviously Josh' run should not be in the same category as Reset's. So I suggest you decide on a name for the glitch and do the same as in the VC leaderboards. Call the new warp Any% and the "old Any%" Any% (No <insert whatever name you decide on here>).
