NetherlandsYou can run anything you want. If you submit a run with the route you want to use, it will be put in the "Any%" category.
A change has been made to the leaderboards, with the result being that almost all IL's are empty when one's viewing the list. However, basically all IL's were accounted for, be it without using 3rd party caps, most even with frame limiter on.
I want to kindly ask you to please bring back the missing IL's.

As far as I know, speedrunners either use version 1.0 or 1.01. There are minor differences and some prefer the former while other prefer the latter.
I'm not sure about all the differences and how they affect the run.
So, the grand question: can we get Jump on every lap while in first?

- OP wants to have submit either a Any% No AJS or NMG run.
- OP plays the 2014 remaster.
- 2014 remaster has AJS so the Any% category has times of 15 minutes.
- 2014 remaster does not have Any% No AJS category or NMG category.
- the original question is "can I submit these runs somewhere".
- The answer is technically yes, you can submit both to the Any% leaderboard.
- The request for categories that noone runs is futile, moderators won't add it.
As far as I know, all you need is a phonecall coming in, enter the marker at the same time it starts ringing and start holding it (hold TAB or whatever button you have set to "action") during the fade-out. Pause buffering (holding ESC or whatever you have set as menu button to very rapidly open and close the menu) or fps limiting can help with the timing. Release the phonecall button and you should gain control during the countdown. It's necessary to set the ACTION key (on foot) as the same key for SECONDARY FIRE (in vehicle) for this to work.

In the past years many new runners have come around. One could revisit this idea again now, years later after the first "try-out". Because right now it seems there is interest from quite a few people to run this category.
Lately I've seen a lot of activity on MTA aswell, people just doing races hours on end. The people playing a lot of MTA might wanna take a shot at this category aswell, who knows?
@hephaestusboy The ability of passing through lampposts and having no traffic is all reached through the use of glitches. Disabling traffic can be done by tripling bloodbowl and the "pass through any non-solid object" is achieved by gaining control of the RC Baron outside of the mission "Beefy Baron".
How many more runners must leave before something is done to try and stop the ever growing problem of having completely inaccurate leaderboards?
A big group of runners was banned in the Super Mario Sunshine community a while back, and all the times are still on the boards. https://www.speedrun.com/sms
Having leaderboards as inaccurate as this makes keeping those leaderboards at all completely nonsensical and absurd.
Not only tape and sovdan removed their runs because of the recent incident. Many more runners did.
