The runs made before the in game timer are impossible to beat without perfect inputs now.
All of the old runs before the timer wait for the front door to open before they begin moving. However, after the edition of the in game timer, people now have to walk into the door before they begin moving; having an unfair 2 second time loss over old runs.
All old runs can not be beaten because of the 2 second time loss in the beginning. The only exception to this is if you get a glitch at the beginning where you spawn outside of the starting room (this glitch only occours every 1 in 100 tries). The problem is, this puts you further away from the start of the map, which means even with this glitch the old runs cannot be beaten by a human playing casually.
Therefore, Sky Sanctuary can never be beaten in a time below 45 seconds, due to the edition of the in game timer. The only possible way to get under 45 seconds is with the speed glitch which is not allowed in the glitchless category.
You can wait for the doors to open and the time will start when you move. Mods will time the run for you.
I’m pretty sure you would use accurate sda timing instead of manually starting the timer from start to finish.
Salutations ladies and gentlemen. Due to Crazyblox being a cheeky little bugger (and basically killing the entire game), we've decided to spice up what remains of the speedrunning scene in this game. We're going back in time with this one boys!
