I've noticed that ping is a big factor in runs and can make the game unfair for people with worse ping, could it be possible that the time ends on the frame you touch the next level spawn platform? This would eliminate ping from being an issue.

Whoops, just noticed that elims time on lv1 is timed that way, in that case could you change that in game rules? Also does the outer dark green surrounding the checkpoint count as part of it? After some testing, it counts in game I'm assuming that it means it counts then

I've also notices that @Elims run on lv 3 was timed based of when the stage number changed, unlike 2 of the lv1 times (above is why i think that these 2 times use the correct method of timing) and it is also timed incorrectly because there is a 60 fps recording option that gives you a time of 3.650 instead of 3.667 when you frame check it.

It's based on the frame that the stage counter changes, link me in dms with the specific runs that don't go that way I'll retime

Do players with bad ping just have to deal with it then? Just wondering...

  1. Private servers are free. (Lower ping)
  2. I've seen the delay be consistent while verifying.
