Hello I'm George

New speedrunner. Kinda. Officially I guess?

I've always been fascinated in finding glitches, skips, and secrets in video games growing up. Starting from N64 and getting my first Xbox with Time Splitters. Then on I modded my original Xbox to get all kind of advantages (and thousands of games) to see what I could find that I wasn't supposed to see.

This brought me up to speed running. HL2 was the first real game that inspired me to start. Learning the backwards bhop after already bhopping for years in Gmod and CSS really gave me fun and excitement knowing how fast I could get to the next cut-scene and or save point.

Anyway, I'll more than likely be messing around with the 1993-2008 area of games. If you're reading this and have a recommendation on a good game to have fun with and learn something from please let me know!

Hope to meet some awesome people!

Welcome to the speedrunning community!

Although alot of popular games are done within that timespan that you're going to be running, don't be afraid to try newer/older games.

Anyways, you can speedrun pretty much whatever you want. I'm more of a nintendo person, myself, so if you want to run any nintendo games: -Super Mario World -Super Mario 64 -The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Have fun running, feel free to pm me on any of my social media if you have a question about the site

Welcome aboard George.

That stock answer is, play what you can stand playing repetitively for hours! If that's not good enough, Super Mario World has a slew of categories and tutorials to get you started.
