How to remove speedruns from your profile? I'm basically no longer interested in the speedrun being displayed and by looking at my profile i don't see any option or ability that would remove it. I don't really want to go through the mod since they don't have contact info up and i assume there's an easier way i'm missing
You can always remove your own runs, whether you're mod or not. Hit the button with three dots below the video on the run page.
May I ask why you want to delete everything you've done? It's something of a detriment to the community/ies you'll leave behind.
Thanks for the help, I wasn't interested in deleting everything i was just planning on removing the spooky cats one since its second and I don't think anyone cares especially since i feel pretty defeated by the first place one. Although you bring up a sort of good point, do you actually think its relevant and/or of value to leave up the runs even if theyre not 1st?
Incredibly valuable to leave runs regardless of place.
yeah I feel like it is, well they may not be the best for one but they are still your best your pb:) if it was wr at one time anyway it meant it was the fastest known one at the time which is still really cool. Sometimes there are remnants of old strategy that the person in wr might not even thought of doing so the next person who wants to get WR could combine them. Some of this is really subjective of course
On the spooky cats board you can still get wr they beat your run by a few seconds why not watch there run see where they improved the time and try to go for it yourself it might be fun and you may even get wr back you never know :) now that would be really cool to see (personally I don't like the wr run for spookycats because steam covers up there full screen in the first level and even later on even though it is for a tiny bit still and it looks like because of that movies and tv tab they are playing a prerecorded video they might not be but that would defiantly encourage me more to watch your run anyway if you want that reason too)
And personally for games I love I like watching lots of the runs on the board because to me I enjoy watching the games not just the fastest way to do a game but just runs of that game seeing how they differ or just other cool stuff.
Oh no I am not stopping him just answering the why so question if people want to delete there runs I really don't mind just like giving another side of the coin really
because having a wr makes you 1337 gamer instead of having fun exploring the game and turning from "oh look this is super fun" to "fuck this game, im not coming back", people just watch le tutorials and they git gud ))
