So I am confused. I watched the any% but the any% is a new game + file isn't it? Is it not normaly so that any% starts a fresh file and says play the game as fast as posible? At least that's how it is in basicaly every other game. :/ ????

You can tell it's a fresh file if it's made in the file selection screen or if it has no items from the previous run in the pause menu. NG+ also has different enemy placement, chests you already opened are open etc. but those don't really matter. NG+ would also probably start either after the credits, or after having saved the NG+ file to get a proper IGT for regular Any%. But then you'd notice that NG+ starts without you having to talk to the boat dude at the start of the game.

So yeah they're all fresh files. Or atleast mine are, it's not like I watched every run. :^(
