So I've been wanting to do speed run attempts for specific games on my Xbox one, but I'm not exactly sure what I need.
If anyone can tell me what equipment I need please do. If its possible to set up a speed run without purchasing anything please tell me, but if there are things I need to buy then so be it, listen the things i would need.
(This is not necessary but if anyone can find and link me pieces of equipment I need that doesn't cost too much I would greatly appreciate it, though its not to difficult to find things myself.)
This is such a broad question. If you’re asking what equipment you need to say record a video, then that can either be as simple as a camera/webcam pointed at your TV or as robust as a capture card that feeds the video into software like OBS. Each game has its own rules regarding what is acceptable video proof, and even though the former is usually accepted, you’ll need to check with the mods of the games.

A capture card isn’t required unless your webcam is bad quality or you don’t have a webcam. But even still, buying a decent webcam is still probably cheaper than a capture card if you’re using a modern console.
