no taking invisible platforms, no jumping on top of stuff like on last floor of ToSP to skip the kill bricks no using mechanics to skip a section like on end of f2 of CoLS, pretty much doing every jump thats intended for a tower is skipless. basically jumping on every block of 1st floor of tower of madness instead of like jumping from 1st to the wraps or 2nd to the wraps
Feels like it would be a boring category. Who wants to do a speedrun without shortcuts? On top of that, I feel like a bunch of arguments and debates will arise in trying to determine various things, such as if a run should be invalidated (did it use a skip or not). Overall it just doesn’t seem like something that would be fun to run.
Being a mod for TNP, defining a skip is just a very big problem. Especially skips that don't save particularly much, but are still enough to define a speedrun. That's why I removed the NMS and Major Skips categories for it. I feel like if Skipless% were to become a thing, they same thing would happen.
I dont see the point in this because would ladder flicking count as a skip? I dont know, and a speedrun is boring without cutting corners or something like that because it would be easy to be in the top 10. you have to do EVERY SINGLE JUMP in the "correct order" don't add this pls
We won't add skipless% cause, It's a bad idea, and what's the point of it anyways!
Aw man, alright I guess thats what the people want lol. also i wouldnt count as ladder flicking being a skip
how would it be called a speedrun then, most people would have the exact same time
