Hey guys, I know I have been MIA for a while, but there has been a lead that popped up in my community pointing towards a potential skip. If we find a way to excecute this one it'll skip 4 levels in the Story Mode speedrun. (Years 7.1 mission 3 till 6)

Recently someone joined my channel and asked my why he skipped 4 levels and how he could get back to replaying them. After not understanding what he meant he decided to sent a picture of his screen to show that he was missing 4 levels. After showing this picture he explained what happened and I try to recreate it on PC. (What happened for him happened on a PS4 copy) Sadly enough I was not able to recreate it, because there is no way of changing into Hermoine at that point of the game.

Here is what he did and explained us so far: #1 Complete the game normally till you complete Year 7.1 Magic is Might.

#2 Go into the tent and teleport to Hogwarts through the Marauder's Map.

#3 Go to the grounds near Hagrid's hut, change into Hermoine and use her bag near the gate. Doing this, they said, would result into skipping it.

Not entirely sure how it works and what would happen afterwards, but it seems rather legit so far.

I did make a save file after completing Year 7.1 Magic is Might, so if anyone feels called to figure this one out, let me know!

Edit: I forgot to say that this would save AT LEAST 30 minutes from the run, making it a lot more interesting category. It does maybe have some implications, though. Mainly that it skips levels, so maybe this requires a potential sub category.

Really cool! but, it's probably not possible. Speaking of how the engine is different on ps4 compared to pc, i'm going to assume it's not possible. but who knows! i might just be crazy

Oh heck, really?! I didn't know the engine was different? Played through it a 100% not that long ago on the PS4 and it felt almost 100% the same to me. Pretty damn good port then, haha!

Either way, I hope someone can get use out of this or figure out how to transform into Hermoine in Hogwarts, because that is the missing link at the moment, haha
